The hotel and scenery was beautiful, but what made it extra special was the wonderful staff. Every member of staff we spoke to was so lovely and eager to help. The breakfast was delicious and great value for money. We especially loved the roof top hot tub with an amazing view of the harbour.

Hotel was in amazing old building with all the amenities one can imagine. Room was very clean and comfortable . Breakfast was excellent. location was very nice. Staff were very helpful.

I loved this hotel and was really glad I'd booked it. To be honest, I booked it for thr pool as I was worried about the Auguat heat...and it was indeed great to get back to the hotel after a hot day's sightseeing and be able to get into that pool! But we got so much more besides this...it is truly a beautiful hotel - old and authentic and so well kept. The location is perfect as it is a short ferry ride from Valetta, but so much less crowded..felt more residential...but still old world feel. I was so relieved I hadn't booked in Valetta or on the other side, ie Silemma / St Julian's. Valetta is beautiful but crowded and the others were sooo densely built-up and more modern...no old world feel. The hotel staff were absolutely lovely... couldn't do enough to help one. Thr breakfast is fantastic... egg, bacon, sausage, flapjacks, fruit, yogurt, cereals, cheese, cold meats, juice, really good coffee... and coffee maker and pods in rooms too.. Wonderful rooftop patio to watch sunset...had supper there every night. .and many food options around too. We loved our stay!! Thank you, Maureen Richard and the other staff
