Really helpful, friendly staff, especially the owner. Great bungalow, right opposite the beach with seating to look at glorious view. Good value, excellent food, home cooked and delicious. Half way from airport to town. Owners live on site- the place has a super friendly, family feel, and has a good local reputation.

The location is spectacular, the staff are all so helpful and nice. The woman manager went above and beyond to organise tours or transport and help us enjoy our stay. The ability to see whales from the terrace was magical. The food is excellent with an extensive lunch and dinner menu. Room was large and comfortable, anti mosquito plugins and sensible nets were standard. The hotel has a group of giant tortoises as well which were fun to see.

The view was spectecular **Clean Accommodation**: The cleanliness of the accommodation was impeccable. Our room was spotless and well-maintained, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of ensuring that everything was in perfect order every day. **Excursions**: We took a quadbike tour and it was really fun. Worth the price.     We spent 5 nights in beginning of July at Aurora Lodge, and loved every minute of it! Despite the weather being ever changing, it was such an amazing place to be. Karen, the owner, was very welcoming and her staff were very nice and helpful. The bungalow was well equipped, and although simple, had everything you could need. We especially enjoyed the cooking class and visiting the neighboring vanilla plantation, showed to us be the very passionate owner. Also just walking around the island, having lunch at the close by, very relaxed restaurant, Le Fafana (a must visit spot!) and exploring Iles Sainte Marie.

    Everything about this place is amazing and magical! 200% recommend! I would go back now if I could! The place is clean and super neat, the details make the difference! They put fresh flowers every day, everywhere! And in the evening a lady comes and puts down the mosquito net around the bed and puts some mosquito repellent around the bungalow. The food is great and cheap and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The boss even upgraded us to a nicer bungalow without paying extra. Highly recommend the tour at Ilots au sable and the pic nic (grilled lobster pic nic!). It is really the best place

    I love the connection I had with the staff. I love the location and access to the main town. The food was great especially on the hosted "pirate party night". Which they had a live band! Fred the owner is extremely outgoing and helpful and makes you feel comfortable 100% of the way.
