We booked a night at Nosy Manga for our stopover but could not manage to check-in due to a massive flight delay. I messaged them on the same day and they have been very understanding and waived the cancellation fee for us, which was greatly appreciated. On the way back to our home country, we had a short layover and went there for lunch. I regretted for not able to stay there as the hotel is tastefully designed with amazing food! Hopefully next time!

Eliene was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. Thanks to her support, I was able to take the taxi-brousse to Morondava. The room was quiet and very comfortable, and the shower had plenty of hot water. There are a few small shops nearby where you can easily buy food and drinks, and the town center is also within walking distance. I really appreciated the warm hospitality and would happily stay here again. I can truly recommend this place to anyone visiting Tana!

The breakfast is very delicious with excellent options. The room is very spacious with an excellent level of comfort. The hotel has a rooftop and a restaurant, which is very convenient. The staff is very kind and always willing to help. The hotel provided me an excellent indication of a driver who took me on all tours in Madagascar. The location of the hotel is also excellent. The hotel accepted payment by credit card, which is convenient for tourists. Finally, in general, English is well spoken by the hotel staff, making communication very easy.

The hotel has an old-fashioned Grand Hotel Budapest type of vibe, especially with all the facilities like spa, pool, bakery in the hotel etc. I absolutely loved the quality of service, the care provided, and the experience of staying there. I'd definitely come back and would recommend it for the stay not only because it's comfortable and central, but because it has a special vibe and makes an experience special. I used their spa twice and it was a great experience! So do go for that massage, a swim, or a facial!

Very friendly staff and great location. We stayed two nights which was the perfect amount of time. They offer various spa- and beauty treatments which we highly recommend. Also, the driver that did our transfer to/from the airport is the best! He told us all about Antananarivo and took us to the places we wanted to see. He was super friendly and had lots of tips to share on the area.

Tana has certainly nice area’s, but the center is very crowded and dirty. Not the prettiest place we have been, although the Kings palace (north of Tana), queens palace, marche artisanal de la digue are worth visiting. We did not spent a lot of time in Tana, it was the beginning and end of our trip west and back with rental 4 wheel drive. Maybe next time …

Not many bars/restaurants to choose among.

Not many bars/restaurants to choose among. Some roads are not even asphalted yet. Most of properties look like prisons due to the barbed wire on the walls of houses. You are about 50 minutes driving far from the city centre, but close to Croc farm, worth a visit.

I spent two days in Tana.

I spent two days in Tana. The first day, I rested in my room, by the pool, got a massage and relaxed on the balcony at sunset. Then I chatted with the friendly staff at the bar until bedtime. On day two, I had a very good guide and driver who took me around the city. I'm so glad we visited the markets, and the Queen's Palace!

I loved the visit of the Queens' palace! People in Antananarivo are very friendly, driving is smooth and seems safer than many other cities! Life is also affordable with a viety of different items you might need.
