The place is very nice, newly opened, it has spacious and sparkling clean rooms - exactly as displayed in pictures. It is located close to the train station, in the new area of Marrakech, safe to walk around also at night! By day we also walked to the Medina - it's maximum 30 mins by foot. The staff is very kind and helpful, with recommendations and any information you may require during your stay. We totally recommend choosing this hotel for your vacation.

We had an amazing stay at the Hotel! It was our first time in Marrakech and we will definitely come back. The Hotel offers everything you need. The whole staff is super welcoming and friendly, if you have any questions or wishes they will make it happen. Meryam always got us our roomservice for breakfast she was great. The Raid was great, the market was very busy not made better by motor bikes going up and down the small alleys. The souk was a scam and would not recommend, felt very intimidated by pushy sales man and insecure not a place to visit on your own. The food was hit and miss but over all good for the price. The tours where good as was the quad bikes and camel ride. Over all it was a good experience, come with a open mind but be vigil when in the market it is so easy to get lost. look for markers so you can work out your route. Always barter and have fun

We liked the serene atmosphere of the Hotel des Iles and its large swimming pool. The location is excellent, it is just across the road from the beach and the medina is just a short distance away, you can easily walk there in a few minutes. As the are no lifts in the hotel, it is probably a good idea to get either a ground floor room or a pool bungalow because the breakfast bar is on the first and the buffet on the second floors. If you are not eating at the hotel there are lots of reastaurants in the medina and a couple quite close to the hotel.

The hospitality and the gorgeous setting were my two favorite aspects of the Riad Jnane Imlil and the village of Imlil. The surroundings are majestic and the staff of the riad were so very warm. The food was delicious and convenient (breakfast was included, and you can purchase dinner and eat in the building). I was not feeling well from before I arrived in Imlil, and still it was a beautiful place to rest in. We had planned to do a full-day trek and have lunch with a Berber family in their home, but had to cancel due to my illness. Still, we walked around a bit in the village and that was so very pleasant. The riad had a pool and has beautiful terraces and balconies to enjoy the gorgeous views from. I highly recommend this riad to anyone.

A hidden little gem!! The local people and the magical vibe of this place will stay in our hearts for along time! I accidentally booked our family to stay here instead of Essoauria and did not regret it for one minute. We loved it here and with our car we were able to drive to Essoauria easily.

Very annoying touts everywhere and not much water in October. The waterfalls had zero water so go in Spring if you want to see it at its best maybe. Keep going up river for more quality places and there is a nice shop and cafe with (albeit expensive) argan oil products etc. They gave us a free tasting of their oils, honeys and almond butter with our coffees there.

Very nice city and friendly people. Personally I prefer the quiet places. Unlikely Marrakesh, Safi is very quiet and nice city to discover and learn about in a week, you will be able to make friends easily and recognise the locals quicker. Also the beach and the areas around it is very close and the prices are very affordable.

Don’t buy from the souks nearest to the Jamaa el Fna, they are extortionate prices, also quite a lot of hard sell. Walk further away where prices and haggling are more fair for both buyer and seller. Same with the restaurants, we found the further away from Jemaa, the better value and quality food available. Go to palaces and Ben Youssef etc as early as possible before the crowds build up. Good day trip out to the Atlas Mountains, worth doing if you like hiking a bit and wear good footwear.
