Very clean and remote. Friendly owner. Nicely equiped and had all the appliances you would wish. We had problems finding the place so the owner drove to where we were and helped us get there. Highly recommend this place and will return here.

Liked that it was well isolated from people. amazing place to relax with close people and enjoy the evenings. Enjoyed the old style of the building, made it really cozy. Sauna felt good and was amazing. Sauna isn't dry and is well balanced with humidity.

We stayed at ForRest Glamp for just one night, but it was a truly memorable experience! The house was spotless and incredibly cozy, offering a perfect retreat in the heart of the forest. The peaceful surroundings and the silence of nature made our short stay feel like a true escape. The host was warm and welcoming, ensuring everything was perfect for us. The facilities were impressive, and we especially enjoyed the sauna, which added a touch of luxury to our evening. On a rainy and windy night, the fireplace created a wonderfully cozy ambiance. Even though our stay was brief, it was unforgettable, and we highly recommend this spot for a relaxing getaway!

The place was incredible. We arrived very late but the owner was still friendly and waiting for us. The apartment was very warm and cozy and the room was very spacious and clean. Kitchen had everything you’d need so it was very convenient to cook meals. The owner had also prepared few huge bottles of drinkable water for us so we did not have to worry about water. The surrounding was super quiet and beautiful. It was also perfect that we could take our dog with us.

Combination hotel and restaurant. First about the restaurant. This restaurant is directly connected with Villa Gales Hotel. The Staff of the restaurant is very dedicated to their customers and the menu they offer. Special BIG COMPLIMENTS for Paula for the way she treats the customers and the way the gives advice about the menu and drinks. More than pleasant. The fact that Paula speaks fluently English is top. Also BIG COMPLIMENTS for the cook (Paula's Mother). She focusses on the authentic Latvian Kitchen as well as non specific Latvian food. For us we have chosen for the porck ribs. Honestly, best of the best. Paula's Mother creates miracles with food. Not to forget: value for money. From this restaurant it is about 7 minutes driving to the beach of Saulkrasti "Balta Kapa". A must to see. Keep in mind, when you are not far from Saulkrasti, do not waste your time for looking for an restaurant. Saltwater Gales is top and worth a visit. The hotel: Room very big and clean. Bathroom good and clean. Shared kitchen: big and clean. Refrigerator and Freezer: big and clean. 4 Zone electric stove: perfect. A really everything that people need for a longer stay. Watercooker, microwave, dishes, pans, cups and saucers. Really everything including tables and chairs. A last word about hygiene. The last 2 weeks we have been in many hotels twice the price as Villa Gales but for sure not cleaner than this hotel. Half the price as many hotels but same clean as many hotels. Possible ? Yes.

Excellent place! Hosts are kind and helpful, the room big and beds comfortable. Good breakfast with nice coffee :) Hotel is situated in between all the main local attractions. We are highly recommending staying there!

We stayed at the barn house and rented all three apartments. It really had the unique historic touch in a modern interior. The planning was great, especially in the apartment nr 7. It was great that the house had doors both side of the building and several terraces. Also the outdoor area was lovely. Very well designed flowerbeds just in front of the house.
