The staff were efficient and welcoming, they all spoke very good English. The latter point helped to ensure my stay was made very pleasant. My room was clean and well appointed, my evening meal very tasty. Should my travels see me back in that part of Latvia again I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

We had a wonderful stay at Birini Castle. I especially liked the little "Summer cafe" down by the mill pond where we could sit outside on the terrace and have a drink. The restaurant was lovely, and the general feeling of the castle was perfect. We enjoyed every aspect of the stay, and would be happy to stay again. Also, one of our group forgot a tablet in the hotel room and the hotel staff quickly contacted us to arrange sending us the tablet. The customer service was excellent.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable with crisp white bed linen. The shower was great, too. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, and both were excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great sunny, cozy, spacious property with all you need. Perfect location. Also little touches like left tea bags, coffee pods, cooking oil, toiletries.. makes you feel welcome, very comfy bed and quiet location despite being central. Great facilities.
