GermanyAt Hotel Senleja I felt immediately at home and very welcome. The modern and comfortable hotel is perfectly located for trips through Gauja National Park, the room was sparkling clean and there was always something special for breakfast among with the regular breakfast ingredients.

I like the hotel because of its location, cleanliness and customer service at the reception. I did not like the restaurant and its staff because they do not serve enough food at the breakfast even though you pay for it. If you do not go to breakfast early, you only get some leftovers. Great small town. Big attractions are the castle; the forest walks for hikers; the nearby outdoor activity centre with kayaking etc; lovely restaurants and cafes - good food but not expensive. Oņegins of the mosties beautiful citu in Latvia, with great authentic Old Town, Medņevas Castle, museum and cool exhibition halls. Also, events are perfect in conret hall "Cesis". Sigulda is a great place to overcome obstacle courses located in the treetops. In the "Mežakakais" adventure park, you will be challenged by 6 tracks with 82 obstacles of varying difficulty. On the other hand, in the largest open-air adventure park in the Baltics - Tarzāns, you will not only be able to climb 20 meters above the ground, but also go down the toboggan track.
