At Hotel Senleja I felt immediately at home and very welcome. The modern and comfortable hotel is perfectly located for trips through Gauja National Park, the room was sparkling clean and there was always something special for breakfast among with the regular breakfast ingredients. Rooms were very beautiful, modern, good design. Very spacious room. I had a kitchen in my room, with some tableware, refrigerator. There was a floor heating in bathroom. In the middle of nature, we met roe deers around the house. Very friendly stuff.

The room was big and clean. The staff is super friendly. The food in the restaurant is foodgasm-worthy! A supermarket is a two minutes walk away and there you can get some supplies to start a hike through the nearby forrest. This is just perfect!

We took this last minute and pitched for the two room apartment, thinking more space and comfort for a little bit more money. Great decision. It was a very spacious apartment, both well heated and equipped, and pretty well situated. If you wish to cook, you can easily do so. Check in worked well and we made ourselves very comfortable here. So much so that we extended for one extra night, simply through a new booking. Many thanks for an excellent stay.
