We loved our weekend stay! The highlights included the friendly and accommodating staff, the peaceful park and lake just out the back, and our spacious, spotless room. But most of all, we enjoyed the dinners at the hotel’s own restaurant. I had the duck breast, served with a port wine reduction, broccoli purée, and chickpeas—a great combination. My husband chose the halibut, which came with sweet, delicate mussels, spinach, crab, and perfectly seared cherry tomatoes. Every bite was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the meal so much that the next evening, we ordered the same dishes—but swapped plates to try what the other had the night before!

Vi only arrived very late and was checking out to go for a weeding the day after. The rooms were nice and clean. Even though it is right against the main road, you couldn’t hear it from the hotel and I had the room closest to the road.

Lovely location! Dog friendly area and the yard of the cottage had fences. Cottage had everything we needed for staying a night. The host was really friendly and helpful. Amazing view from bedroom which had a big window to the lake.
