In terms of location, style, room design, the owner's attention to details, food, staff, organization - this is the best place I've stayed in in Sri Lanka. and it’s especially incredible that all this was in a relict forest, where it was obviously much more difficult to organize everything at this high level. The atmosphere of the place and the energy of the people working in this hotel are amazing. Upon arrival, Ice tea was like a friendly gesture, a flower on the table, cool room design, floor-to-ceiling windows, a view of the pond with water lilies in the fog in the morning - indescribable. very very tasty and varied breakfasts and generally very tasty prepared food. the best owner Prasad who's meeting guests like old friend and always in touch and manager of the restaurant Tikiriki, and wonderful women who work for our pleasure. We enjoyed our stay so much. The quietness, the nature, the view on the mountain from balcony. Super nice staff. We walked from hotel 2 km to sinharaya rainforest unesco heritage entrance. We were mesmerized by the nature in the rainforest and the surrounding. The hotel is a Super place.

Our stay at Sinharaja Forest Lodge was truly relaxing. The lodge is surrounded by lush tea plantations and beautiful greenery, making it a perfect escape into nature. Idyllic place in the middle of nature. Well decorated and maintained. Kind, but not to invasive personnel. Highly recommended to visit Sinharaja forest reserve, but you can easily also spend a day or two only to chill in the hotel.

The accommodation is located near Sinharaja Forest Reserve in a beautiful valley with farms, fields and a lot of animals. We could see peacocks, fireflies and many bird species just outside on our patio. You get a lot of privacy in your villa and a great view over the valley. The villa was perfectly clean and the bed was also very comfortable. The hosts take excellent care of you while you are there. The meals we got were perfect - real local Sri Lankan food. We also did a short hike with the owner into the forest reserve which was a fantastic experience and we saw a lot of wild animals and took a swim in the river next to a waterfall.

The whole experience was amazing. From the warm welcom through the beautiful room with great view. And Hemel , the owner that is a gifted guide to the rainforest. So kind and nice and at the same time knowlagble and quick to spot every living thing. They are a young couple with a little girl that own and run this amazing g place. We loved this place! The views were amazing and the atmosphere was peaceful and calming. We visited the Sinharaja Forest Reserve during our stay and our host did an amazing job by organizing the whole trip there, he made everything really easy for us.
