The location was super close to the city. (4min by walk to the main street and restaurants. So super practical when it’s raining! The staff was super super nice. They even have a laundry service that is useful if you travel light. The breakfast was amazing and they can adapt when you need to take it. (coming from a french person that the greatest compliment:) ) Even the nice decorated room itself had everything you need : a good hairdryer, tea stuff, fridge, qtips, warm blankets and AC, even a small light when the city is running out of electricity.

Amazing place and highly recommend anyone to SL to visit this hotel. Views are stunning, rooms are independent, beautifully designed and provides privacy. Staff is super nice and efficient , they give you personalized services and take care of every need, which you don't find in most of the hotel. We had the best time at Ekho Ella! The hotel is absolutly stunning, super clean, modern and with an unreal view, i was feeling like in fairytales. From the moment we arrived, the stuff was so kind and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. All the time were near us 1,2 people to help us. A special shoutout to Priyahtha who was so cute with my son, he give him 4 fishes from they fountain and also for Nisal and Thankshine. The food was incredibile good, the rooms so cute and clean, all amaizing. The best hotel from. Sri Lanka! For sure will come back

We loved everything. Dewan, our butler, was super kind, gave us good tips what things to do with the time we had, talked with us, pick us up every time we needed, took us in a morning walk nature to see the sunrise on a top of a mountain and super helpfull all the time. All the staff was really kind, food is really tasty, the hotel is amazing and super confy and the view is insane. Our room was perfect. We travel a lot around the world and this hotel is one of our favorit ever. Recommend 100%. Hope to come back one day again.

One of our favourite places in SL, had much more of a town...

One of our favourite places in SL, had much more of a town feel. It is touristy but just means lots of place to eat. The hikes are amazing and were one of our favourite parts of our trip. Beware the scammers when going up Ella rock - it's a little confusing to find the path and locals will try to lead you away from the main path to 'guide' you

Badulla is an up and coming tourist destination. It has much to offer but for now is excellent for those wishing to spend time in the hills and and away from the razzmatazz of Ella or the tried and tested Nuwara Eliya.

Almost everything.

Almost everything. Location was close to Horton Plains and the owners arranged a tuk tuk ride for a nominal fee. Lovely surrounding. Food was tasty and ample given. Really worth it. Owners were friendly and made the guests feel at home.

Ella is a wonderful place to explore.

Ella is a wonderful place to explore. It’s very clean and has breathtaking views everywhere. The people are kind, the local food is amazing, and it’s perfect for families, friends, or groups. With easy access to Nine Arches Bridge, Little Adam’s Peak, Ella Rock, and tea plantations, it’s an ideal base for a week of sightseeing and adventure.

Haputale is a breathtaking hill town surrounded by lush tea estates and misty mountains. We stayed at Benito Bungalow by The Serendipity Collection, where the in-house chef prepared fresh and delicious meals every day. The cool climate, scenic views, and peaceful setting made it the perfect place to unwind. It’s quieter and less touristy than other hill stations, which adds to its charm. A true hidden gem in Sri Lanka!

Even though My stay in Badulla was too short to visit all...

Even though My stay in Badulla was too short to visit all the beautiful places, the trip to Dunhida waterfall was a great experience, especially for kids. The path to Dunhida might be difficult for someone. I believe it was a very nice experience to walk through the jungle. Once you see the waterfall, you will forget all the tiredness.

People are really friendly and welcome tourists. City is very small, but attractive. The 9 arches bridge is a place everyone would like to visit. Food available in the restaurants are really testy in a reasonable price. The train ride to ella was a memorable one.

Most of the activities are outside of main Haputale the...

Most of the activities are outside of main Haputale the hiking is wonderful as was our visit to Lipton's seat and the tour of the tea factory. Main Haputale not really much going on but the hotel was perfect after a long day of hiking.
