Amazing hotel with stunning views ! We came here for our honeymoon and the place is like a hidden gem in the mountains ! The pool area and the restaurant were our favorite spots because of the views! The staff were very attentive, they even do the laundry free of charge. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The hotel is close to downtown, if you need a taxi or Tuk tuk they order it for you. We love staying here and would love to come back .

Beautiful accommodation and a friendly, helpful owner! We felt very comfortable. Very clean room, very comfortable bed, and a beautiful view! The ride to the hotel was an adventure in itself; it's amazing what tuktuk drivers can do. The free tuktuk service to and from the city center was so nice. The only thing that bothered us was some loud work/noise outside beginning around 7am in the morning. Depart from that it was really quiet, and all we could hear was just nature! We can recommend this hotel to everyone, we really enjoyed our stay :)

Loved everything! Room was so cute and decent! Totally worth the price! Toilet was a little bit outdated in terms of the design but the whole room as well as the toilet was very clean and well maintained! The view was incredible and the restaurant food was so delicious! The owner and the staff were all so kind and arranged everything we requested for perfectly! The cubes Ella made our trip in Ella complete.

The property is hidden away and beautifully secluded. It is small and very exclusive. It felt like a VIP experience. The staff were exceptional and took very good care of us throughout our stay. From the moment of check in to check out, I had a wonderful stay at orient hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and professional and the food was delicious. Special mention must be made to the GM Mr. Chandima who was always on the scene and attentive to our needs. We were also provided with a Trek to Ella Rock accompanied by hotel staff and a packed hotel lunch which was an incredible experience I would highly recommend. Overall was a great visit and will definitely be staying here again next time I visit.

Stunning property view, and the team is very attentive and kind. The location is amazing as you have direct access to many activities directly. Breakfast was also impeccable and the staff was extremely well. The food quality was perfect. The spa also gave us a lovely experience. Dinner is coupled with live music and a great selection of different food options.

The view of this hotel is to die for. It’s absolutely stunning. The highlights of this hotel are the friendly staff in the restaurant, the pool area and the rooms. It’s a bit difficult to get to as it’s mostly uphill, but it’s worth it. The hotel has also been renamed which is a little confusing as it’s not clear.

Badulla is an up and coming tourist destination. It has much to offer but for now is excellent for those wishing to spend time in the hills and and away from the razzmatazz of Ella or the tried and tested Nuwara Eliya.

Almost everything.

Almost everything. Location was close to Horton Plains and the owners arranged a tuk tuk ride for a nominal fee. Lovely surrounding. Food was tasty and ample given. Really worth it. Owners were friendly and made the guests feel at home.

Haputale is a breathtaking hill town surrounded by lush tea estates and misty mountains. We stayed at Benito Bungalow by The Serendipity Collection, where the in-house chef prepared fresh and delicious meals every day. The cool climate, scenic views, and peaceful setting made it the perfect place to unwind. It’s quieter and less touristy than other hill stations, which adds to its charm. A true hidden gem in Sri Lanka!

Even though My stay in Badulla was too short to visit all...

Even though My stay in Badulla was too short to visit all the beautiful places, the trip to Dunhida waterfall was a great experience, especially for kids. The path to Dunhida might be difficult for someone. I believe it was a very nice experience to walk through the jungle. Once you see the waterfall, you will forget all the tiredness.

One of our favourite places in SL, had much more of a town feel. It is touristy but just means lots of place to eat. The hikes are amazing and were one of our favourite parts of our trip. Beware the scammers when going up Ella rock - it's a little confusing to find the path and locals will try to lead you away from the main path to 'guide' you

Most of the activities are outside of main Haputale the...

Most of the activities are outside of main Haputale the hiking is wonderful as was our visit to Lipton's seat and the tour of the tea factory. Main Haputale not really much going on but the hotel was perfect after a long day of hiking.
