Very friendly hosts, we went to the morning safari and Sambadh (hope it’s the right spelling) cared for us all the time and even prepared lunch when we came back, food was really good.

Super friendly owner. She takes care of everything(arranged transport there and away with her, safari and she is also a Great Chef) We arranged a wonderful safari to bundala national park with her. We saw many birds, crocodiles, tortoise, elephants. The driver and guide was very nice. The family room is spacious and clean. Beds are very comfortable. Thanks a lot! And kind regards to everyone in the team ( all very friendly) and her lovely sons. My girls are enjoined playing with the 6 year old and loved the baby!

The property was located very close to Yala National Park. It was quiet and perfect for us after a long flight. The staff were attentive, kind and nothing was too much trouble.

It is a simple hotel that does everything it needs. The host makes a delicious buffet lunch every day. I used this hotel because I had to get up early in the morning to go to Bundala National Park.

This place is true. The beach nearby is... powerful. That's the proper word, probably. Wasn't suitable for swimming when we stayed (very turbulent sea), but was one of the pearls of our trip. Very secluded, feels like edge if the world. Which it is, basically. Just for yourself. Well, maybe also for a few other wanderers who got here) beautiful surroundings, a temple on a cliff close by. Embrace the world. Utterly friendly guys running the place - can't name them "staff", not the proper word

Our stay at The Yala Lodge was absolutely incredible. We had the great honor of being the very first guests – and it truly exceeded all our expectations. The villa and its private pool were so stunning that we actually postponed our safari by a day just to enjoy more time in this beautiful place. The villa is spacious, tastefully designed, and offers a breathtaking view of the lush greenery and pool. One of the highlights was being able to observe some wildlife right from the property – a truly special experience. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Every meal was prepared with so much effort and love, and the food was fantastic. Communication with the very kind owner, Pradeep, was smooth and easy. He also provided us with great safari tips. Since we had to leave early for the safari (at 5:30 AM), they even packed us a lovely breakfast to take with us – such a thoughtful gesture. The rooms were spotless and met high Western standards – beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout our stay. All in all, we were absolutely thrilled with our experience. If we ever come back to Yala, there’s no doubt – we’ll stay here again! Thank you so much for this wonderful stay!

The property was very clean and colourful and was in a great location. It was near to 4 national parks and next to the beach. The property was very natural and a perfect place to relax after a few days travelling around Sri Lanka.
