- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 939 reviewsThis was our third time at PrideInn and we will be back, because we love it so much. I truly believe it is THE best hotel in Kenya for a holiday ( I have stayed at and visited many). It's the perfect place for a family with kids of any age, you can be both entertained or you can retreat to the quiet parts of the resort and of course the beautiful private or public beaches. My kids (13 & 16) loved swimming, the water aerobics, and beach volleyball in the evening the most. Having said that, I would also visit on my own or with friends, as it is equally good to carve yourself out a sanctuary. This year, we stayed there for 12 nights in late July / early August and the weather was perfect. Rooms are designed in a way, you are in touch with the beautiful outside. The resort is stunning with views to the sea. Food is plentiful, very tasty, and all options are very natural & healthy. What I loved as a mom, was that I could get my rest, while the kids were out and about from morning to late evening on their own having their best time and making friends. The staff at PridesInn are the best, I want to give my special thanks to Duncan (room services), Hisami (reception), Faith & Gladys (restaurant), and Denis (manager of entertainment), they all rock! But honestly so many more staff deserve recognition. Thanks for everything and until next time!Guest review byHarnetRwanda
- From US$264.65 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,821 reviewsI stayed a week over New Year’s Eve with my family in this beautiful resort. Extremely welcoming staff, newly refurbished rooms, and amazing facilities. A warm acknowledgment to Tuva, the general manager, and all the staff for ensuring excellence in hotel services. A special mention also to chef Charles and its staff, who ran a 24/7 kitchen serving amazing food from all over the world. Also thanks to Masha, our hospitality assistant for making our stay comfortable. And last but not least, a big shout out to the gardeners, security and pool staff for keeping the hotel on point. It has been a memorable vacation and we look forward to coming back!Guest review byChiaraItaly
- From US$163.80 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 5.6Passable - What previous guests thought, 156 reviewsI had a fantastic stay at Reef Hotel in Nyali. The staff were warm and attentive, and they went above and beyond to make my birthday extra special with a decorated room, singing, dancing, and a surprise cake during dinner. The beachfront location is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent with a mix of Swahili dishes, fresh fruits, omelettes, pastries, and cereals. A perfect blend of relaxation, great service, and Kenyan hospitality — highly recommended!Guest review byGKenya

We were looking for a family holiday by the sea and can thoroughly recommend Mombasa. The apartment was on Lido beach which suited us perfectly and found a local taxi driver to take us to attractions such as Haller Park and Wild Water (water slides). The city is busy and there's significant work being done to the roads. So expect the occasional jam and some very bumby roads. In July the temp was just under 30 degrees C and there was a refeshing breeze from the south to temperate this. That also seemed to keep the mosquitoes at bay. We were pleasantly surprised to find some very good restaurants (e.g. CJ's near Wild Water - good food and good service). We didn't sample the night life nor take a safari to Amboseli - something for next time!Guest review byRobert - 10.0

Some really good beaches... very full day trips on boats... lots of stalls to purchase things... good supermarkets on the main road if you are staying in a villa... due to the heavy Italian tourist presence, there are plenty of great eateries and restaurants... easy to get around on motorbike or tuk tuk... generally very safe compared to Nairobi.Guest review byAsefUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Malindi is currently regarded as the "dead town" but in my opinion, it's the perfect escape from all sorts of pollution- Instantly replaced by the facinating historical landmarks like hell's kitchen & Mambrui in totality, peace & serene, are just some of the healing that Malindi has to offer.Guest review byKevinKenya - 10.0

I liked that Lamu is a small town, easy to walk about and no pollution say for donkey dung. There are many eateries with all kinds of meals, loved the seafood restaurants near the jetty. Lamu is safe for travellers and the community is very welcoming. Easy to get around either by speed boat, dhow or slow engine boats if not in a rush. The weather is warm and windy especially in the evening. People prefer to walk about and sit around the seafront at night where there is good ocean breeze before retiring for bed. Fishing is a great recreation activity which we all enjoyed while in Lamu.Guest review byEstherAustralia - 8.0

The apartment is very pretty and the terrace on the creek offers beautiful vieux. In the morning many monkeys come to say "hi" : it's very funny indeed. If you like to walk...it needs only 10 minutes to go in town. Close to the apartment there are 2 very nice restaurants on the sea, where it's possible to eat very good food.Guest review byBagnone - 10.0

Driving to the lodge didn’t encounter many animals due to bush and lava rock. But at Serena we saw hundreds of animals including many small babies come to the large waterhole right in front of us. So we did not bother with safari drive. This made for a very relaxing stayGuest review byAvalongirlAustralia - 8.0

It is not a place for a holiday, I was there to check on some of my Property but I was frustrated because I ended up staying for more Days than I had wanted. It is loud and congested.but if one has his own home is Ok but there are other nice places to enjoy and have fun It easy to get round Mtwapa, by Tax Tuk tuk and motor Bikes and public means of transport called Matatus.Guest review byRose - 8.0

this trip was just a stop over in Voi for one night because my destination was Mombasa. But previous trips to Voi was great because one can visit Tsavo east and Tsavo west as well as some of the private wildlife sanctuaries from Voi. I always stay in Impala Safari Lodge in Voi, this time however I made a mistake to pick Oasis.Guest review bypieterKenya
