Itadaki Daisen is a well appointed hotel that delivers exceptional customer service, against the backdrop of its spectacular location. Danny and his team provide a thoughtful service. Great stay! So comfortable and clean. Room was so spacious compared to other business type hotels I have stayed in Japan. Staff were so kind and helpful. Hotel is in a peaceful and quiet location. Only about 10-15 minutes walk from the station so convenient to access the town or trains/ buses for traveling around. I really enjoyed my stay, was relaxing and excellent value for money. Lovely view from the window!

    This hotel truly deserves the title ‘super’. Check in is smooth and entering your room requires a pin code printed out on a receipt, so you don’t have to worry about a key or key card. The room has a comfortable diner-style table to sit at. The bath is wide, making for a comfortable shower. The bed, sheet and quilt are very comfortable and soft pillows are available near the reception. The air conditioner is fully adjustable and worked perfectly throughout the night. Even more noteworthy is the black-out curtain that completely blocked out the morning sun. There is a welcome bar with a wide and generous selection of soft and hard drinks between 6-9pm and a free breakfast with a decent variety that changes each day. Finally, the hotel is a very short walk from Yonago Station. I had a smoking room due to the price but it didn’t smell too bad after spraying the room.

    I wasn’t sure what to expect when I booked. However the stay here at Kaichoen was very fabulous. Onsen lovely. Room huge by Japanese standards and even by Australian standards. Greeting by staff in pouring rain amazing. I loved that staff were willing to communicate with us even though we don’t speak Japanese. We managed to organise breakfast. Breakfast was the best we have had in Japan. Thank you for a very unexpected and memorable experience. Highly recommend.

    It was more fancy than I thought it would be, truly amazing. The Japanese style room and the public bathing area were both a fantastic experience. Close to the beach, with quite a few restaurants and stores around, direct bus to the station. There's a fridge, a kettle, some welcome teas and snacks, and a yukata for after the bath! They have three sizes. Highly recommend.

    I liked everything! It was such a nice hotel, the room was really spacious, if only we had more time, I would've loved to stay longer! The place had a beautiful garden and an outside onsen.     Tottori city is small but packed with experiences.

    Tottori city is small but packed with experiences. I recommend: Warabekan - Toy Museum; Jinpukaku Mansion (closed until 2029 but still a beautiful place to visit); Tottori Castle Ruins (the park has great city views) and UNESCO Global Geopark - Tottori Sand Dunes. The crab dishes are delicious!

    Exceptional place with mountain and sea being side by side.

    Exceptional place with mountain and sea being side by side. I got to see better Fall colors than Kansai region. Sand Dunes (small area) in this weather and geography is also unexpected, frankly the dune was taller than what I saw in Dubai. Flight taking off closer to sea shore and when you look at other side window, it is mountains. The place is a geological wonder in my view.
