There is a shuttle bus from the hotel, though limited seats (max Cap 12 ppl), so make sure you get in early to queue. The king double is huge, fit 2 adults and 6 y.o comfortably. The hotel is only 1 minute away from tenkubashi metro. Easy access. The map given by the hotel is very straight forward. Hotel is very modern and very clean. Hotel staff was accommodating. They allowed us to store our 2 medium luggages 4 days before we check in just to give us convenience, which we really appreciate their support.

I like that the room is clean. Bed is comfy room is small but for me it is enough for a solo traveler. Place is so near to the train station and very accessible to other cities like ikeburo, ueno, tokyo, akihabara, shinjuku, ginza and shibuya. There's a near donki Picasso store nearby and also supermarkets. So if you just want to chill and not go to places, there are a lot of things to do around the place There are a lot of resto, cafes etc. This is what I like within the vicinity, plus the area is safe.

By far my favorite of the APAs we stayed in! I only regret not staying more than one night! Very spacious, double room is great for trying to accommodate 2 people and 2 luggages and the onsen is always a treat, especially recommending the outdoor one! Staff are amazing as per every APA we have been to. Right next to the metro station exit as well as like 3 minutes walk away from the Sugamo JR exit.

This is a great hotel that can see the Skytree from the Asakusa area. Although it is not a new hotel but it is clean and the service here is great. Strong recommend the skytree view room in high floor if you need to stay at Asakusa.

Interesting part of Tokyo, an hour away from the "city" but still considered Tokyo Metro - very convenient to Mt Takao - if you come to Tokyo and you do not take the Cable Car/Lift combo and then tile to the top, you are missing something very very special - it is an easy train ride, and you are in another world - I was told it is the most hiked "Mountain" in the world - school groups were there, Senior Citizens all decked out in the latest hiking gear, quite the variety of trails and sights, Really enjoyed Dozo Sake Kitchen, Miwa and Dave are the real deal when it comes to Sake, highly recommend and a great classic Cigar Bar Yosukuo - 2 must go to places along with the hike

What have preferred to stay in Tokyo, but a friend suggested it because we were meeting her. But she didn't tell us about meetings she had and we could have stayed in downtown Tokyo for about the same price. Good location if you need to be in that area with the hotel at the station.

Fuchu was a wonderful town to stay in on the outskirts of Tokyo. It has a slower, more relaxed atmosphere than central tokyo. The people were friendly and there was plenty to do and see. The tree lined main street leading to the temple was beautiful. And there were some local parks that were nice to walk to.

Machida has everything you need for shopping plus the Odakyu...

Machida has everything you need for shopping plus the Odakyu Line into Shinjuku or the Yokohama Line into Yokohama if you need to hit the big time. Still comoared to most North American towns, Westerners will think Machida is HUUUUGE and super busy. For Kanto region I'd saw it's a hub for Kanagawa but manageable. Food choices at and around the station are excellent. Hotels are way cheaper than in central Tokyo yet you are only 30 to 60 mins on any train to wherever you need to go. Direct buses from Narita and Henda airports as well so no need to deal with hauling luggage on trains. Or just takyubin (courier) luggage to Mahcida from airport.

Musashino is a Tokyo city suburb - accessible to central Tokyo in 20 minutes. Musashino area includes Kichijoji with a huge variety of dept stores, shops, eateries, restaurants of all cuisine types, and also the wonderful large Inogashira Park and its large pond, as well as Ghibli Museum. Nearby are more sedate areas of Nishi Ogikubo and Mitaka.

The island is lovely and has many outdoor activities. But you will likely need to rent a car to reach some of the more remote areas easily. There are buses and taxis, but you may have to wait quite a bit of time. Many of the restaurants will close during the afternoon and early evening, so be sure to have some snacks prepared or stay in a place with a kitchen.

Kichijoji is a great area in the western suburbs of Tokyo.

Kichijoji is a great area in the western suburbs of Tokyo. We explored the beautiful Inokashira Park and other points further west such as Chofu and Koganei. We ate at a great izakaya that specialises in squid called Totomaro. There's plenty of shopping, including Don Quijote and Yuzawaya. Kichijoji is on the Chuo line which connects with Shinjuku and Tokyo stations. It's also really well serviced with buses.

Tokyo is a city where you could have 6 or 7 different holidays in a single stay. Being the largest city in the world, and having such a wide variety of wards encompassed within it, it would be impossible to visit without finding something for you to enjoy. Travel around Tokyo is incredibly easy, with the underground network servicing almost every corner of the city and anywhere not covered will have a bus to take you there. Our favourite places were: - Asakusa, around Senso-ji temple, with the plethora of small izakayas and restaurants to really give you the Japanese experience. - Golden Gai in Shinjuku, where almost 200 bars are packed into an area smaller than a baseball field/half a soccer pitch. If you don't find a bar theme that you enjoy in there, then you'll never find one anywhere. -Kamakura/Ofuna, down on the south coast but still within the greater Tokyo area, is a beautiful, picturesque set of seaside towns with cute trains and amazing beaches to enjoy.

Side city of tokyo not crowded by foreign tourists, Short distance from place with great nature like Hachioji castle ruins, mount takao and sagamiko. Also good shopping experience in downtown and neighboring cities.
