Location was prefect for visiting the Kurobe Alpine Route. Dinner and breakfasts are included which are traditional Japanese. We were expecting breakfast to be a buffet style as per the photos and didn't enjoy the set Japanese menu first morning. Felt wasteful as we didn't enjoy it at all. If given the option for Western breakfast at check in would have selected for both mornings, second day was lovely. Dinners were very nice, used google translate to decipher menu, only to have an idea what we were enjoying. There is also a lounge with complimentary hot and cold drinks available all day and into the evening.

Right opposite to the station. We only stayed one night where we had to catch up alpine route train at 5 in the morning. This location was helpful. Hotel was super clean too, and nice restaurants close by.
