AustriaIt was a very japanese and fantastic stay. Friendly staff und guests. Very respectful and considerate. I also liked the style of the hostel. Well equipped. I had a dorm japanese style to share with two others and it was very comfortable. Be aware: It is a quiet hostel so many lights turned of at 9 pm, officially it is 10 pm. Do not come for party!

United KingdomBeautiful homestay so got to understand a bit more about the way in which people live on the island. Room was lovely and the bed and bedding was super comfy. The owner was very lovely and helpful and went above and beyond to give me recommendations for things to do etc. A home away from home :)

It was a very japanese and fantastic stay. Friendly staff und guests. Very respectful and considerate. I also liked the style of the hostel. Well equipped. Wonderful countryside and mountain trails for hiking.
Wonderful countryside and mountain trails for hiking. No bears which helps. Interesting museums and Samurai history. We got stuck here longer due to rough seas and ferry cancellation - BUT who would want lo leave anyway?
