My partner & I were really surprised and happy with the room we booked. Really spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was really nice and the atmosphere was very relaxing. For the money we paid, I would consider it a steal. I liked how quiet it was too, no one was noisy and rowdy plus the amenities were pretty convenient especially having a water dispenser downstairs.

+ great location just next to the JR Station + Good size room, standard equipments and amenities for this price range in Japan (very good) + Great breakfast, worth the waiting ( it can get crowded sometimes) + The onsen on the rooftop... The star of this hotel... Fantastic, must try it even if you don't love the onsen atmosphere (yeah, the naked people).

With my wife we stop here on our way to Sapporo. The Onuma quasi national park was amazing itself, lots of birds and the path along the lake is awesome. The hotel was an experience. The interior design with beautiful wood crafted statues made the stay exceptional. I am a smoker and even if in the hotel is not alowed to smoke, the smoking room was comfortable and easy to reach. The rooms are big, extremely clean and there is all you need in them. The view on the lake from our room was great. We had the breakfast which was varied and of high quality. I enjoyed the scrambled eggs, and for my wife, which is vegan, they arranged a great breakfast too. Finally consideration the staff. They all speak English, they are extremely polite and will to help you in order to make your stay pleasant. I absolutely recommend a stay in this hotel to enjoy the wonder of this naturalistic area!

Great concept and a nice execution too. We arrived at an empty place late at night (self checkin works out well) and my wife was frightened to death lol. But the facilities are good and clean considering the surroundings.
