I had the pleasure of staying at Beirut Hotel 2 New for 4 nights in May 2025, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel at home. I had to make a change to my original booking, and they kindly accommodated it without any extra charge—something I truly appreciated. The manager, Osama, is fantastic—welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with a warm smile. The receptionist, Homam, was also incredibly kind and helpful, assisting with anything I needed during my stay. His local knowledge and hospitality made a big difference. The breakfast was delicious every morning, with fresh options and a cozy setting. And the view from the hotel is absolutely breathtaking—you can see the entire Old City center, which makes for a magical start and end to each day. If you're looking for a comfortable, clean, and welcoming place to stay in the heart of the city with stunning views and outstanding service, I highly recommend Beirut Hotel 2 New. I’ll definitely be back!

The staff was super kind, we arrived at half past midnight and they welcomed us with some tea. The room was big and clean, and there were various options for breakfast. In the breakfast room there is also a cook preparing an omelette upon request.

The hotel is impeccably clean, reception, the broad loopy, halls, corridors, rooms and restaurants. 3. The high quality of the food, (Items, dishes, locally and internationally) entertainment, and guest services are outstanding. 4. The room rate offers fair value for the quality of the products and services provided. 5. All the staff and employees are Exceptional with no exception But I must mention Ruba and Kim for their out standing performance. Many thanks to all the hotel staff for the enjoyable time we had at the hotel.

Booking.com mistakenly listed our reservation for one adult...

Booking.com mistakenly listed our reservation for one adult instead of two, leading the hotel to unfairly charge us extra, despite the room being priced for two people. On top of that, the hotel provided no basic amenities like towels or extra bathrobes, making it the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

Both good things and bad things to say: Good: Beautiful view Curious and friendly locals Good privacy Elevator Staff will arrange cheap airport-transport for you Bad: Terrible wifi that barely worked. Don't book this hotel if you need to do work online, unless you have a sim card from which you can hotspot yourself. Almost nobody around speaks English well, so communicating can be a big struggle Expect to be woken up by a prayer from the Mosque next door at 6 AM. However, they will be quiet for the rest of the night. Getting food is difficult. There is a coffee shop in the same building, but they don't serve food. 100m away there is a small takeaway eating place with cheap junk food. But there is no menu and they don't speak English well, so you just have to communicate with body language and hope they give you what you prefer. There is also a shop with snacks available there. No prices are displayed though. The staff will help you order takeaway, but a meal that makes you full costs around 6 JD, so be prepared. Expect imperfections in your room such as weak air condition, showering water that only gets a little warm, leaking toilet, weak flushing, and a bit of uncleaniness The beds are a bit hard, and the pillows are too big There is not really anything to see in the nearby area The light on the ceiling that illuminates the room shines very bright and white light that is kinda depressing at night

Go when weather is not forecast rain - it was pretty cold and miserable when it did rain - but it was only on 1 day and it was Mid November. The cultural sights are worth seeing - but we didn't get chance to go to Wadi Rum - which is a good one we heard. I would've loved to have seen Aqaba as well, (they should make that a Jordanese Sharm el Sheik). Flights are cheap enough - even Wizz Air was OK... Hotels - you can get decent priced ones - but recommend pick a location where there are pleanty of shops and restaurants etc. Taxis are fairly cheap - too Airport to Northern Amman 27 JOD (about £29.60). Oh - and dont think you're gonna lose weight - the food is amazing and they like their desserts - far too tempting!

Very convenient place to stay on arrival or when you have an early departure from Amman QA Airport. The shuttle service is well organized, even in the middle of the night. Room is spacious, so are the beds, and clean. Bathroom convenient, water, tea and coffee available for free. Airco works well, and keeps noise of airport and highway out. They brought us to the car rental too, all for free. There is nothing in the neighbourhood, so really a place to spend the night. Value for money!

Amman is just like any big city: crowded, heavy traffic, older downtown. I would recommend for shopping (best price for souvenirs; had I known, I wouldn’t have bought anything in Petra which was at least times more expensive than Amman). Also for a variety of restaurants and an interesting public market Al-Balad. If you don’t have time to go to Jerash, Amman has some interesting enough ruins like the Roman theatre, nymphoneum, and citadel.
