Everything was exceptional and are host Stefano was fabulous and the woman helping with breakfast was as well. The breakfast was the best we have had in Italy with tons of fresh fruit, great yogurts, juices meats cheeses more than you could eat and on and on there was an entire table of fresh baked goods and coffee was excellent. The design in the main quarters and our space was stunning. The soaps and shampoos were of excellent quality. I can not rave enough about this place!!!! Makes me want to return as soon as I can.     If you like peace, quiet, privacy, small hotels, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves, this is for you. There are just few places along Italy's coast where you can find such privacy right on the water's edge - it will never be crowded here, not even in the middle of August. Your shady, private patio touches the sea, you can jump in the water directly from you room. Rooms and bathrooms (we had 2 bathrooms in the room) are big, beds are comfortable, toiletries luxurious and plentiful. The private beach is ample, sunbeds comfy; if you need a pool, there are 5, one of which is heated, even in summer. Bar and restaurant are right on the water, food is delicious, seafood as fresh as can be. Service is excellent but discrete. Close enough to 2 airports to be worth even a short break. We would have loved to stay longer, though.

    Everything. It was absolutely beautiful!!! We hired a car but we actually didn’t leave the Masseria for 3 days because everything was so gorgeous. The pool is so great for a toddler with the shallow walk in entrance. The food is divine. The drinks were great. The staff were wonderful. The shuttle to the beach is great. For a hotel that’s so good with kids and with a little kiddie play area splash park, it felt so adult and so gorgeous.

    Fabulous hotel in a beautiful, peaceful location. The hotel is very comfortable and spotlessly clean with a fantastic pool and great beachside bar/cafe/restaurant. It is a big hotel but it is extremely peaceful we had rooms with sea views and balconies - amazing views. Everyone was super helpful and friendly. It was also lovely to have the sun loungers and umbrellas so close to the sea, such a beautiful setting.

    Ostuni is a beautiful city located near so many other unique neighboring cities. The people were wonderful, helpful, and so many go above and beyond to understand your needs or questions. While staying in Ostuni, there was a really nice celebration for the city's patron saint, Saint Oronzo, that they had a parade for, and fun parties in the historic city center.

    Alberobello is a beautiful town but gets super busy. If possible visit early morning, or late evening to miss the crowds. The night view is as wonderful as day time with the Trullis lit up. Plenty of parking - either on the roadside approaching the town, or in the shared car parks. Lots of places to eat - all reasonably priced and comparable for the area

    This town is well situated in Puglia , allowing us to use it as a base from which we radiated out on day trips. Nowhere near as tourist filled as Alberobello, this small post-card beautiful ,whitewashed clifftop town offers breathtaking views from its belvedere. We were charmed by the location as well as the warmth of the locals

    We have been traveling to Puglia for many (12) years but hadn't found Fasano until this time. Really nice town, great restaurants and excellent position relative to other towns like Locorotondo, Martina Franca, Cisternino etc. Easy access to the many beaches/beach clubs and tourist attractions like Alberobello (Truli world heritage site)

    Perfect location, as it was in the country-side but not too distant from many different hot-spots. The nature was incredible (we were in a Masseria, but Castellana Grotte in general is named after the "Grotte" very unique and beautiful natural caves). The places nearby - both in the country-side and on the coast (Polignano a mare, Monopoli, etc)- were breath-taking and worth visiting. Overall a "strategic" location for our northern-Puglia travels!

    Cisternino itself is a very lovely cittadina and ideally placed to visit all the towns around such as Ostuni, Ceglie M, Alberobello (although this is like Disneyland), Locorotondo, M. Franca, Monopoli and Putignano, or even Bari. It's also not far from Salento which I combined with this trip and did Lecce, Otranto, Oria, Gallipoli, Castro, S. Maria di Leuca. It is also only just over an hour to Matera which should not be missed and a unique town very much worth the time and kms. There are plenty of restaurants in Cisternino and for your morning coffee e brioche don't miss going to Vignola History or visit the panificio Vignola for a delicious freshly made panino and other treats that will put plenty of padding on the hips.

    It’s a gem.

    It’s a gem. Get up to the historic centre like the other main towns and you’ll find a relaxed oasis of sights, sounds and tastes. Great places to eat and drink. The sort of place where apéro starts whenever you fancy! White stone streets and a real feeling of joy. In the countryside and olive groves, the trulli cones pop up and they’re an absolute revelation. I loved my stay, will be back for more and couldn’t recommend it enough.

Positive: • Decent space for a family of 4, • nice private gated parking space for the apartment, like having your own garage. • Very convenient and secure, if you self-drive. • Our first floor apartment balcony was spacious and able to see (barely) the ocean in a distance. • Fridge was big, and although “minimalistic,” everything in the kitchen worked fine. • There is an outdoor shower by the garage to wash off the sand from the beach before entering the house. • Quiet neighborhood, and we even saw a shepherd herding about 100 goats (or sheep) going through our streets when we left the apartment around 10:30am. • Nice hot showers with plenty of towels provided. Negative: • No soap or shampoo provided. • Only one Air con in the living room. The two bedrooms have no Air con. For us in early October, it wasn’t bad. We just leave the bedroom door open. I suppose it’s designed this way, but what about privacy? • The Wi-Fi wasn't working. We had to share with another apartment, so the signal was weak. Contacted them, but communication was bad, and also over the weekend, so had to use the Wi-Fi of another unit next door for 3 nights, with download speed between 1-3 Mbps. • The toilet cover for some reason kept sliding to one side. Not a major problem, but an annoyance on top of everything. Additional note: Check in at one place, (the “Donnosanto Residence?”), and the actual apartment is 1 km away. After getting the key from the front desk, the guy gave me a map to get to the apartment. At night, it was difficult to navigate to find the turns. As it turns out, they could have just told us to set the Google map to "Donnosanto residence Pantanaggianni." Google map had no problem locating and directing us to the apartment.

    Carovigno is a great town and area, lots to do in surrounding areas, great beaches and lots of restaurants. Great for self catering and good prices in Supermarkets like Euro Spin & Lidl also good local stores and market.
