SpainWhere do I start? I really want to come back and stay for ever. The staff is amazing, we asked them about recommendations and help with planning our days and they made everything so so easy. The surroundings are breathtaking and you have everything you need witihin a 15minute car ride. You wake up to the sound of birds and the views are stunning from the Hotel! The hotel restaurant is a must, the food and the service is outstanding. Breakfast is also amazing, a big variety of things out but you can also order some more stuff.
There is a beautiful pool but the weather wasn’t on our side while we were there so we couldn’t enjoy it. I am definitely coming back soon!

New ZealandFantastic historic castello! Our room was very roomy and comfortable. The staff exceptional and the owner very friendly, helpful and a delight! Good country location and easy drive into Sienna and a good quiet base for visiting surrounding villages in tuscany. The restaurant cuisine was also an added bonus and very nice indeed!

What a gem!! We arrived arround 8 PM so we could not really see the property well as it was dark. Federica and her husband welcomed us with such a warm smile and made us feel really confortable, showed us arround our apartment. The apartment is very big, 2 bedrooms in opposite side and a kitchen in between and each has its own batroom. This is not o property for those who seek luxury, although you have all the facilities, but seek originality of the Tuscan vibe anda warm place to stay. The house itself dates from 18 century so it ia just amazing. Besides the goodies with which we were welcomed, the breakfast…. Oh my God… you can not ask for more. Federica also asked us after 2 days of we preffer something else so she could personalize our breakfast. Also she gave us a lot of helpfull advises on where to go, to eat and park, and this is something she does with everyone that comes, but even so, you can see she does everything with passion.
The next day we woke up in a perfect Tuscan scenery, it was magical. We relaxed a bit by the pool, in the evening we stayed drinking a glass of wine in the garden… perfect relaxation.
I could not recommend this place more. People who left bad reviews…. Probably they were searching for something else or they just do not want to fully enjoy a holiday.

Absolutely gorgeous location, pool overlooks a vineyard with a view of the Tuscan hills in the background, we all loved it. A perfect spot for visiting Siena. Great local restaurants nearby, staff very happy to recommend or book if needed. Rooms lovely, we had a triple room and a double room, one in the main building and one by the pool, both great. Ideal for travelling with children/teens, and I would definitely come back for a romantic getaway.
Breakfast was plentiful and good.

Near Siena less than 15' from Porta Tuffi , easy parking . I had booked a hotel inside Siena but the car restrictions and the difficulty to park drive me to Sovicille . I didnt go anywhere to Sovicille and i only eat once in a good italian Osteria La piazzetta

The manager took care of us even before we reached the place. We have been called to make sure that everithing was ok on our trip and had brief but precise indications, in fact the place is in the middle of astonishing but very off-hand hills, which is what you may be searching for. We got there very late but everything was prepared for us, we could also get some good appetizers and wine despite the kitchen had just closed. A porcupine (Hystrix cristata), 2 foxes and an owl welcomed us on the way to our apartment. We stayed just overnight but the sleep was so recovering from our long trip and the breakfast certainly gave me, my wife and the kids the right energy for the coming day. The place is wonderful and the personnel are all so kind. Before leaving, just because I liked the whole situation, I decided to buy a can of oil (Extra Virgin First Press....ça va sans dir) without even tasting it. Now that I did I can confirm that you should not leave without.

This is an ideal location for anyone who wants quiet rural beauty. This stop was between busy city visits so it felt like a great change of pace on our 5 week vacation. We stayed for 4 nights and there is just enough to do in nearby cities if you want a daily outing(Assisi, for example), but honestly I opted out of some of those and enjoyed the pool and outdoor and indoor beauty of the property. There are a couple of other apartments on the property but you really only become aware of others at the pool which is large and offers plenty of space between loungers. Ideal for anyone wanting a quiet beauty rest spot.
Easy to use the beautiful kitchen to prepare meals or drive to restaurants.

The whole area is very beautiful, lots of small villages on hill tops, hidden gems, while in a perfect central spot in Tuscany. You can either stay in the area (Siena and San Gimignano still only 30-40 minutes drive), or explore further (Florence just an hour away).
