A lovely city and with plenty to do.
A lovely city and with plenty to do. Restaurants and cafes were good. The older city area had wonderful atmosphere with narrow streets etc. and wonderful squares, museums, churches etc. most attractions were easily walked to and easy to get to.While three days was fine, we would certainly go back as still plenty to do and see. My favourite place was the interactive leonardo experience: best 10 Euros spent. Tutti restaurant was excellent.Guest review byAlastairUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Pisa, in my opinion, only has two things: the tower and the airport. The Leaning Tower is worth a visit, but it's best to combine the visit with your arrival or departure date from Italy. Or, if you rent a car, you can visit the nearby towns and return to Pisa for the night. But don't waste more than one day in Pisa.Guest review byAngélicaSpain - 6.0

The history of art is brilliant and the architecture impressive. The duomo is beautiful and incredible. The terrain is very hard work with uneven paving and very hilly. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or older people.Guest review byAndrewUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Lucca is a beautiful walled city.
Lucca is a beautiful walled city. There's a lot to see if you are interested in history and culture. There are many delightful bars, pasticcerias and osterias. We would particularly recommend Caffe del Teatro for coffee and pastries. The city is small enough that you can walk out of the city into the countryside. An easy route is along the disused aqueduct path. There are also good bus and train services if you wish to go further afield. Pisa and Florence are easy to reach for a day trip. So is Viareggio. We plan to return.Guest review byMalcolmUnited Kingdom - 4.0

Was not impressed with the city and expected more given all the review I read online. My disapointment could be due to the fact I visited in February, so off season. I booked two nights but decided to only stay for one and left early. Even though I booked a room in the central part of the city I did not feel safe walking the streets at night.Guest review byViktoria - 10.0

We liked exploring the entire City and were fastinated with the old buildings. Only negative comment would be fact you need to pay for the use of the washroom. Most were dirty and lacked toilet seats.Guest review byDanielCanada - 10.0

Viarreggio is a very friendly and family type of town with some great beaches, pleasant pedestrianised streets, restaurants and a lovely park in the centre. Being very flat it is easy for people to get around town and there are many on bikes. Our favourite places to eat were MaMe Restaurant, Osteria l'Imbarco and Ristorante Pizzeria EdenGuest review byKENNETHUnited Kingdom - 8.0

A good base if your a bit more adventurous and don't mind travelling by train. For example Pisa and Florence are both reachable by train but include changing trains at various places. Montecatini itself is a little run down in places with all the spa buildings closed. A nice little town square where a few bars can be found. Montecatini Alto is a gem reached by a funicular railway and Lucca (40 mins by train) is well worth a visit.Guest review byAndrewUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Arezzo had enough history and sites to keep us interested.
Arezzo had enough history and sites to keep us interested. The walkable streets, ruins, and churches were easy to get to. There were plenty of restaurants ti choose from, and it was easy to recognize places where Life is Beautiful were filmed. Friendly and peaceful!Guest review byNatividadUnited States
