It was one of the best accommodations we've stayed in! Very quiet, close (30 min) to main chairlifts to SellaRonda - Canazei and Campitello di Fasa, but also got the chance to ski around and get to a perfect view at Laurin Lounge. The cleaning was excellent and breakfast&coffee was perfect, cannot get enough of the cakes and fresh omlette every morning. Loved the girl who made the coffees. Loved every small detail - refreshing water, fruits and tea. Loved the spa/sauna and that we could dry our ski equipment. Loved the 2 pizzerias around and also the restaurants/hutte nearby. Hope we can find free rooms next year so we can come back :)

We got a really good service The hotel offers quality service around the clock For kids a good club with fun activities. Slides. Climbing wall. Pool ( nicely warm ) For the adults they offer a great spa with all the amenties for free. The food is delicious a great vriety and very good quality. 3 course dinner. We loved the baffe with all variants of salads and cheese. Breakfast is excellent to. We were plesently surprised from the tiled floor. We were annoyed from carpeted flour as mentioned at booking. Probably the rooms had been renovated recently. We had a quiet sleep with a wonderful views. Very good quality of toiletiers. Everyday there was a quite variant skiers buffe. With complimentary tea and soft drinks. It is the perfect hotel for a family on a ski vacation.

First of all, everything shown in the pictures and text is completely realistic. The entire place is beautiful, and the ski slopes are superb. The hosts are just as friendly as they should be, providing all the necessary information simply and precisely. It was important to us that the kitchen, bathroom and windows were renovated and very tidy. I used the fitness room and a little swimming pool and I am very satisfied. One word.... WOW! First class! The staff went the extra mile to make me and my family feel welcome. The owner welcomed us himself even. Really personal service, all the staff knew exactly what room we were in everytime i charged the room. Everything totally on point! The spa was next level. Everything you could wish for plus the view. We were driving an EV. No problem there, they have charging stations and a garage. The room was amazing. The lighting, the finishes, the design, spectecular! If you wanna treat yourself, book a room here. Thanks for having us, we will deffinately come back.

Our family absolutely loved this hotel! All the services were at a high level, and we especially enjoyed the kids’ playroom and the spa treatments. The walk from the San Pellegrino pass to rifugio fuciada is fantastic as it is pretty flat, not too far (8 km round trip approx) and can be done with snow boots even in Dec/Jan. The scenery of the mountains and warm atmosphere, drinks and food of the rifugio make it an fabulous winter walk. Busses are available from Moena to the pass.

Canazei is located at the southern part of the Sella Ronda...

Canazei is located at the southern part of the Sella Ronda domain and you need to take a couple of lifts up to the slopes. There are also buses to get to different parts of the domains, and though they run regularly their frequency changes. Apres-ski life is more on the quiet side in Canazei and while there are a lot of restaurants in the village, we didn't find anything the marked us. There's a great (but pricey) swimming pool and wellness center and shops are OK for such a village.

Brilliant base for summer hiking.

Brilliant base for summer hiking. We did a three day hike, taking a taxi from Vigo to Fie/Vols, on the other side of the mountains (cost €130 for 4). Staying in a hotel in Vigo allows you to come and go between stays in mountain refuges. Next time we come, we will try to do a Via Ferrata from a refuge to get on top of one of the high peaks.

There's an physical rehabilitation center in the town, mostly seniors who are ill. With 270 deg of fabulous often snow covered mountains, I wouldn't want to get well too quickly. All Italian but still very Alpine charm, just on the edge of the Sud Tirol area with 3000m+ mountains in the backdrop.

The ski bus service in Val di Fassa is really poor. The timetables are completely confusing and the frequency of connections (especially towards Campitello and Cannaze) is insufficient - often less thand once per hour!

Fantastic location for family skiing.

Fantastic location for family skiing. Saves you driving to the lifts. Most of the lifts and slopes connect so good choice of runs and making good value of ski pass. Plenty opportunities for shopping and dining although can get busy/oversubscribed and times so reserving tables highly recommended.

Moena is fantastic place in the beautiful Dolomites - it is...

Moena is fantastic place in the beautiful Dolomites - it is not on the doorstep of the skiing resorts, but a short transfer (15min) will take you to the most common ones - San Pellegrino area being our favourite. While not being on the doorstep of skiing, it has the advantage that you can try out different areas, all with different characteristics.
