- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 72 reviewsThis is a lovely resort for a family holiday. Right on a lovely beach, we had a very comfortable apartment. It is in a small secluded area but a 20 minute walk (up steps but manageable) brings you to the lovely town of Vico Equense. There is also a shuttle bus almost every hour up to the train station. From the train it was v easy to get to Pompeii or Sorrento. (Using the local Circumvesuviana train route). It is also handy for trips to Capri or along Amalfi coast. Restaurant on site is spectacular, and there are 2 or 3 other good options next door.Guest review bySusanIreland
- From US$340.54 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 657 reviewsWe travelled to Sorrento area in order to visit the whole area around, and this place is an excellent choice for that, because it is in the between of all the interesting places (Amalfi, Pompei, Sorrento, Capri...). The view to the Sorrento Bay and Capri Island is absolutely breath taking! The whole stuff, especially Michele, were great hosts, we really felt that somebody takes care of us!Guest review byMihajloSerbia

My husband was sick during our time and they assisted greatly! Also the shuttle is so easy to order and arrange that also helped us get to and from the train station. Nice restaurants walking distance!Guest review byJaneSouth Africa

A lovely compact, walkable town.
A lovely compact, walkable town. Some great views from over the port with Mt Vesuvius as a perfect backdrop. Plenty of nice restaurants serving Italian cuisine, you would need a month at least to try all Sorrento restaurants have to offer!Guest review byStuartUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Favorite place to eat: Without question, Pizza al Metro.
Favorite place to eat: Without question, Pizza al Metro. It’s a must-try experience—the pizza is delicious, authentic, and the portions are perfect for sharing. Where we ate: Most of the time, we enjoyed a mix—some meals at home, plenty of pizza at Pizza al Metro, lunches and snacks while out on the boat, and groceries from Conad when we wanted something simple. Getting around: Getting around Vico Equense is very easy—if you have a car. The roads are manageable, parking is available with some planning, and driving makes it simple to explore the surrounding towns and coast. Without a car, moving around could be more challenging. Fun activities for groups of friends: Visiting Positano – an absolute must for its iconic views, boutique shops, and vibrant atmosphere. Exploring Pompeii – a fascinating and powerful experience, especially with a good guide. Renting a boat – one of the highlights, giving us the freedom to enjoy the coastline, swim in hidden spots, and see the Amalfi Coast from the sea. Overall, Vico Equense was a perfect base for both relaxation and adventure—amazing food, convenient location, and plenty of activities for groups of friends.Guest review byDumitrița - 10.0

This is an adorable and cozy little harbor community, that feels like Family. Overseen by Angelo and his family, who own the bar, alimentaria, and other key facilities, it is a congregated entertainment opportunities that allow you to stay and have everything you need right at hand! It has a beach, albeit a stone pier is the sum and total of the "Beach", it has boats to take you to Capri, it has bars, groceries, souvenir stores, and restaurants.Guest review byLisaUnited States - 10.0
Divine.
Divine. The loc was fabulous and will always recommend this location to people. The mountain, the hills, the smell, the city had nice restaurants, and the dinner was delicious and pretty places to take pictures. Train from Sorrento to Naples to Amalfi Coast was astonishing. Will do it again and recommend it.Guest review byAyo AriyibiUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A very peaceful and beautiful place with an extraordinary coastline. It’s not overcrowded at all. There are many good restaurants in the center. Like in many other places in Italy, there are no pavements along the road, so stay alert and watch out.Guest review byRothbartHungary - 10.0

It was fantastic. Great views.
It was fantastic. Great views. Beautiful culture, area, lots to do. Kitchen is a bit small if you plan on cooking every meal but you don’t need to. Affordable local restaurants are walking distance and the best food we had in Italy. Try Eugenia. - restaurant a bit down from the church.Guest review byJonathonUnited States - 10.0
Amazing place to stay with your family or friends.
Amazing place to stay with your family or friends. We enjoyed every moment in the villa. Perfect location to visit Sorrento and Amalfi coast. Well equipped kitchen and outdoor grill allows to enjoy lovely dinners in the terrace with the sea view. Moreover, pool and lemon tree garden allows you to cool down from the heat. And finally, Pino is such an amazing host! He helped us with everything we need, from finding best restaurants around to having some music in the villa.Guest review byAgneBaLithuania - 10.0
First time in Sorrento and always been on my list.
First time in Sorrento and always been on my list. Great place to explore Italian coast. Boat trips to Capri and Positano excellent. Train to Pompeii for tour was excellent. Love the town of Sorrento, busy and lots of tourists but somehow feels leisurely. People polite and restaurants excellent and good value with a range catering from budget to expensive, but all value for money. Loved it!Guest review byStuartUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Vico Equense is a charming town on the way to Sorrento.
Vico Equense is a charming town on the way to Sorrento. Because of that, traffic is quite busy. We highly recommend taking the train, it is only 15 minutes to Sorrento and about 30 minutes to Pompeii. During our stay they had a street food festival which was quite unique and unexpectedly adding to the charm. All restaurants serve wonderful food! Take a walk around town to visit the many beautiful churches, spectacular ocean views, playground for kids, and many shops. The only disadvantage is the longer walk/lots of stairs to get to the beaches and the expense of renting a sun chair and umbrella. Although we joined lots of other tourists, Vico Equense was 'quiet' compared to Sorrento. We loved it!Guest review byMatthewUnited States
