First time in Sorrento and always been on my list.
First time in Sorrento and always been on my list. Great place to explore Italian coast. Boat trips to Capri and Positano excellent. Train to Pompeii for tour was excellent. Love the town of Sorrento, busy and lots of tourists but somehow feels leisurely. People polite and restaurants excellent and good value with a range catering from budget to expensive, but all value for money. Loved it!Guest review byStuartUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Favorite place to eat: Without question, Pizza al Metro.
Favorite place to eat: Without question, Pizza al Metro. It’s a must-try experience—the pizza is delicious, authentic, and the portions are perfect for sharing. Where we ate: Most of the time, we enjoyed a mix—some meals at home, plenty of pizza at Pizza al Metro, lunches and snacks while out on the boat, and groceries from Conad when we wanted something simple. Getting around: Getting around Vico Equense is very easy—if you have a car. The roads are manageable, parking is available with some planning, and driving makes it simple to explore the surrounding towns and coast. Without a car, moving around could be more challenging. Fun activities for groups of friends: Visiting Positano – an absolute must for its iconic views, boutique shops, and vibrant atmosphere. Exploring Pompeii – a fascinating and powerful experience, especially with a good guide. Renting a boat – one of the highlights, giving us the freedom to enjoy the coastline, swim in hidden spots, and see the Amalfi Coast from the sea. Overall, Vico Equense was a perfect base for both relaxation and adventure—amazing food, convenient location, and plenty of activities for groups of friends.Guest review byDumitrița - 10.0

Our stay at Ristorante Hotel La Primavera could not have been better. The room and hotel were wonderful. The food was great. Best of all the service was 5 star! My wife and I were treated like special guests and family the entire time. Claudio, Nino, Luigi, and Marina and the kitchen staff went out of their way to make everything perfect. We will miss them and hope to see them one day again!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Divine.
Divine. The loc was fabulous and will always recommend this location to people. The mountain, the hills, the smell, the city had nice restaurants, and the dinner was delicious and pretty places to take pictures. Train from Sorrento to Naples to Amalfi Coast was astonishing. Will do it again and recommend it.Guest review byAyo AriyibiUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A very peaceful and beautiful place with an extraordinary coastline. It’s not overcrowded at all. There are many good restaurants in the center. Like in many other places in Italy, there are no pavements along the road, so stay alert and watch out.Guest review byRothbartHungary - 10.0
Lovely village.
Lovely village. Fabulous views of Bay of Naples, Capri and coastal area. gorgeous cafe across from Church del Lauro. friendly and chatty owner. Local Sita bus available and frequent - central to visit Piano de Sorrento, north to naples and down south to Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi Coast. Supermarkets/local shops for supplies.Guest review bysandraIreland - 8.0
It was fantastic. Great views.
It was fantastic. Great views. Beautiful culture, area, lots to do. Kitchen is a bit small if you plan on cooking every meal but you don’t need to. Affordable local restaurants are walking distance and the best food we had in Italy. Try Eugenia. - restaurant a bit down from the church.Guest review byJonathonUnited States - 10.0
Amazing place to stay with your family or friends.
Amazing place to stay with your family or friends. We enjoyed every moment in the villa. Perfect location to visit Sorrento and Amalfi coast. Well equipped kitchen and outdoor grill allows to enjoy lovely dinners in the terrace with the sea view. Moreover, pool and lemon tree garden allows you to cool down from the heat. And finally, Pino is such an amazing host! He helped us with everything we need, from finding best restaurants around to having some music in the villa.Guest review byAgneBaLithuania - 8.0
Sorrento is very easy to navigate, as there is one main...
Sorrento is very easy to navigate, as there is one main tourist street right through the middle, with lots of other, smaller side streets leading off it to explore. Half way down this street is the main Piasso Tasso, the main square. At one end are both the bus and train station, where you can travel on to Pompeii, Vesuvius, Amalfi etc. without having to be fleeced by the tour companies. It's much more fun to do as the locals would! The two ports - Marina Piccolo and Marina grande - everything is within easy walking distance, but some steep clicks to climb coming back up, as you would expect in this rugged, stunning coastline. If you don't like crowds, bizz and bustle of tourist towns, then Sorrento isn't for you and it's more pricey than in UK for drinks and food. But there are some really lovely restaurants, artisan shops and quieter areas available if you care to look. And it's a great central spot for the biggies, such as Pompeii, Vesuvius, Capri, Positano and Amalfi, to name but a few iconic locations - all with the Italian suave and delicate shades that we know and love. Just a pity we tourists have to spoil them!Guest review byBevUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Vico Equense is a charming town on the way to Sorrento.
Vico Equense is a charming town on the way to Sorrento. Because of that, traffic is quite busy. We highly recommend taking the train, it is only 15 minutes to Sorrento and about 30 minutes to Pompeii. During our stay they had a street food festival which was quite unique and unexpectedly adding to the charm. All restaurants serve wonderful food! Take a walk around town to visit the many beautiful churches, spectacular ocean views, playground for kids, and many shops. The only disadvantage is the longer walk/lots of stairs to get to the beaches and the expense of renting a sun chair and umbrella. Although we joined lots of other tourists, Vico Equense was 'quiet' compared to Sorrento. We loved it!Guest review byMatthewUnited States
