Amazing property that will give you a real Tuscany vibe. Great staff both in a hotel and a restaurant that will make you feel very welcomed and taken care of.Rooms have character and beautiful views from the terrace. The place is great to stay the whole day: you have sub beds, pool, pool bar you can eat lunch in, tennis court ect. There is also parking on the spot for free. Breakfast was huge and delicious, with fresh fruit you could squeeze a juice, selection of ham and local cheese, smoked salmon and prosecco.We fully recommend you to visit La Bianca restaurant for a dinner that has evening charm on the pool and great food.Hotel is also pet friendly, so many guests were with their dogs, which was very nice to have around

Exceptional stay in a wonderful 5 star hotel, recently refurbished hotel. The staff is very nice and helpful which made our stay incredible.     After reading some questionable reviews, we were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this accomodation was. Our room itself was large, clean, air conditioned and what appeared like a newly renovated bathroom. The room was cleaned daily. While some fixtures are clearly older than others, it was part of the charm. They had great options for experiences hosted on site which allowed us to experience all we had hoped for by staying in the gorgeous Tuscan countryside. We personally loved the BBQ hosted on the Friday night which was a surprising touch. The food was amazing, accompanied by a beautiful bottle of their wine and live music. The wine tasting and cooking class were also great. Pool area was clean and great spot for relaxing. We are from Australia and would go out of our way to come back to this beautiful accomodation.

    At the end of a Tuscany tour this was a lovely and peaceful setting in the heart of Chianti with some great views overlooking the vines, amazing food in the restaurant and some exceptional wines complete with a wine tasting and wine shop so we could return with some of the amazing Antinori wines from our trip. Staff such as Annalise were super nice looking after us and hosting our wine tasting. The receptionist also gave some great advice to visit Badia a Passignano which was a great way to spend our last morning too.

    I'm not giving scores normally on booking but after stay at that hotel i decided to do so. Hotel is perfect location of Tuscan climate. Is located in the place of old village. There is everything starting from pool and ending to small church. We were in rook which in close location is lieaving swallows. Surrounded with wineyards located in close location to San Gimigiano and Monteriggioni. I recomend this very much and if it will be possible I will return.

    Florence has impressive sites, but even though we arrived in September, the city was very crowded and in some places it was difficult to move comfortably. We waited almost an hour to enter the Duomo and perhaps we could have used the time better.

    Amazing property - exceeds expectations in every way. The staff, the scenery, the luxe and comfy room decor, the lovely upgrade, and all the wonderful wine and food on property and in nearby Montefioralle and Greve. SO worth the trip. I wish we were here in the warmer months to make use of that beautiful pool with the to-die-for view!!!

    I have been to Tuscany more times than I can count.

    I have been to Tuscany more times than I can count. This is my first time stopping in and staying in Colle di Val d'Elsa. The location is very close to all the major sites in Tuscany. Volterra and San Gimignano are extremely closeby as well as Chianti. There is a charm to the old town area of Colle di Val d'Elsa, not a ton of tourists like the other sites in the area.

    The apartement was even nicer than pictures. There was oil and a bit of vinegar as well as salt and pepper. It would have been nice to have a few more amenities. The pool looked really nice but we did not have time to take advantage of it. Check in was easy even though we arrived very late at night. Same for the check out.

    Fantastic little town with tonnes of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The museum ticket is great value as it gets you into lots of the historic sights. We enjoyed the weaponry exhibit as you were allowed to hold and try on the different artefacts which was cool! We parked nearby and paid with card on exit (only line up at the ticket machine if you’re paying cash). The onsite wine shop (connected to the popular winery near by) was delicious too. Would definitely recommend this town for people to visit and dine at!

    Castellina in Chianti is a beautiful village. Lovely wine farms to visit. It is a great location for a 30 minute drive into Siena or San Gimignano and lots of other charming Tuscan villages. A great place to relax and enjoy the scenery.

    Gaiole in Chianti is a wonderful little town with a good town center with a good variety of restaurants, a pharmacy and supermarket. It makes the perfect place to make your day trips to other cities, like Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, Rada in Chianti, Greve in Chianti. Also if you want to cycle, the area around Gaiole is perfect.

    San Casciano is remote in the beautiful Tuscan Hills, although just 40 minutes slow drive to Florence The hotel is 7 minutes outside the town, so walking is difficult. Need a car to go anywhere. Taxis are not available. This hotel is pretty good, but the much-acclaimed restaurant is, at best, just above average and pricey. Claims to be "special" but isn't! Terrace dining is romantic but watch the wasps in the daytime and mosquitos in the evening. Swmming pool fairly small and crowded. Grounds are pristine and lots of lovely bougainvillea. Reception staff smile a lot. Huge carpark!

    This place was incredible.

    This place was incredible. The property was beautiful and so well kept. The owner, Alex, could t have done more to make sure we were comfortable in our stay and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He was really friendly, great with our kids and made us feel like we were at home. The rooms were so well decorated, the beds comfy and Alex had great recommendations for exploring the area nearby. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back in an instant.
