Everything was excellent! Both the interior and the exterior are exactly as shown in the photos at Booking.com and the money was worth it. The staff were super polite and always willing to help, all public places were really well taken care of, the room was very comfortable and the restaurant was truly great. We had also booked the spa package -which was such a fun and relaxing experience- and they even let us stay longer than supposed. The most wonderful thing was the view, an exquisite hotel in a lovely location!

The location is amazing! The view from our room was a 5 star experience. It’s a very small and familiar hotel that sits above a restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast one of the best we ever had in Italy. The staff is amazing and service minded. The restaurant was first class and the restaurant manager Fay was so professional and his knowledge of the wines was very impressive. The reception staff were so accomodating and organised tours to the Bellini Nautical Riva Collection. A highlight for my husband. Having the bikes was a bonus we rode all the way to Sarnico

    The team work really hard at making sure that everything goes smoothly for your visit. The view is incredible and it is a short drive to a lot of things that the lake and the surrounding area have to offer. The restaurant has a lot of good local produce and you can understand why they are proud of it. The facilities are excellent and the breakfast offering is very good.

    Had an absolutely fantastic stay with my daughter. The air-conditioning in the room was amazing, in the height of summer. Lovely little walk along the front to the Centre of town. The woman on the front desk went above and beyond when we had a small issue with not having the right plug. Bed was super comfy!

    Sarnico is worth a visit.

    Sarnico is worth a visit. We were there on a Saturday night and it came alive. The bars were open until 2am. Lots of bars and places to eat (although we eat at a Wine and Bruschetta bar which I wouldn't recommend). Nice walk around the edge of the lake and across the bridge to Patatico. More walking could be done but we were short of time.

    I took my wife for a romantic weekend celebrating our 30th anniversary. We were very statified with the hotel and restaurant, and the fact that it is so close to the lake Iseo shore allowed us to have very nice walks over this absolutely beautiful location. The excellent Franciacorta wines produced nearby are highly recommended! Overall, it was a superb experience!

    Riva di Solto is a small and picturesque lakeside village — peaceful, authentic, and undeniably charming. But be aware: very little happens here. Even on weekends, the town remains extremely quiet, with only 1–2 restaurants open and hardly any signs of typical tourist activity. It has a lovely lakeside promenade and beautiful views, but beyond that, there’s really not much going on — no nightlife, no shops, no attractions. The atmosphere is slow, relaxed, and, at times, a bit retired in spirit. This is a place for people who truly want to disconnect, avoid crowds, and enjoy a slice of quiet, traditional Italy. If you're looking for energy, entertainment, or variety — this is probably not the right place for you.

    Beautiful small Italian town located at the foot of the mountains just by the alpine lake. Not many tourists, very easy-going and relaxing atmosphere. If you're looking for the dynamic night life, parties ect it's not for you :). If you want to rest, relax and admire amazing views - go to Pisogne! As Lago D'Isseo in general is more focused on Italians than foreigners (like Como & Garda) the food is fresh and local. There are some great restaurans in Pisogne (eg. Trani Braceria) with the best pizza, steaks and really good prizes.

We made meals at our apartment at "Paradise lake". Castro in it self was quite smaal so everything was in walking distance and the more important things could be found right next to Castro in Lovere such as buss tickets and tourist center.

    Iseo is a beautiful vibrant community on Lago Iseo. You can explore the area by boat, train or by car. There are many beautiful towns nearby to visit. The community is quite friendly to travelers and very safe. We enjoyed walking in and around town exploring as much as we had time to do. It is very historic and well kept!! On Sunday after mass at the historic church named San Adrea (St. Andrew) we walked into the downtown next to Lake Iseo and enjoyed the excitement of a Sunday Market. Afterwords we enjoyed an Apertivo and lunch at a lakefront cafe. Iseo is an excellent town to visit for a day or a month!! We were visitors there for several days in the beginning of June 2025.

    The views of lake and the hills were out of this world.

    The views of lake and the hills were out of this world. However, mid April the Isola ferrry services were not running, and some restaurants were closed. Great Sanctuary on top of the hill for a steep walk. Good choice of places to eat or have aperitifo. Brilliant lakeside board walk. Good public transport, but few bus services in the evening. Very helpful tourist info at the lakeside
