We came without any prior research of the property, just in last minute decision... and first day was cultural shock :), but at the end of the day we like it so much, because of the quietness of the property, stunning sunsets, beachfront, the storey of the plot, with the highest part being about 60 meters above sea level where was our apartment situated. Also there are a shuttle who moves you up or down if you are not relay on your legs :)
- The apartment was well conditioned and dries the air, cause the humidity outside was extremely high :)
- The beds was comfy
- The parking lot was near to the flat
- There was two swimming pools, one on our level with SPA and one with salt water on the sea level.
- The bar and the restaurant prepares typical Italian cuisines
- At the end, but not last, the staff was so friendly and polite

Great location and nature. Great beach with sun loungers and umbrellas. The pool is clean and big enough, there was enough space for everyone. The area is very green and clean. Tasty and varied food, the restaurant staff is very attentive and polite. Comfortable rooms with everything you need. Daily cleaning and change of towels.
Beautiful location, nice room with all amenities, confortable bed, fridge, great pool and beach, friendly staff, excellent food, great value for money. Would go back without any hesitation. Ideal for getting some rest.
Big enough to allow balance between enjoying activities and privacy.
Staff very friendly and efficient!
My 6 year old daughter appreciated too much the mini club!!!

It is a very picturesque town, and it is easy to visit the top spots. Take a slow walk down the cliff from the town to the beach. The sand is fine and the water is a clear blue. Go up to the monastery and take photos of the coast. Just spend some time walking down the narrow streets and alleyways. We went in the offseason and didn't get a chance to visit Stromboli, the volcanic island. That should be a highlight and something we will do next time.

This was my second one-day visit to Cosenza, and I still haven't had time to fully explore. However, both the historic part and the modern centre are extensive, so are worth more time. I haven't yet explored beyond the old town for restaurants, but there is a good trattoria with friendly service next to the cathedral. (Calabria Bella)

Rende, which is really a part of the long thin city of Cosenza, is not a pretty place. Cosenza, as I have said many times before, suffers from large amounts of rubbish strewn everywhere, from paper, bottles and cans, to broken baby carriages, old bicycles, broken glass and split-open rubbish sacks containing.....(I'll leave it to your imagination!). The best thing to do, and my tactics always, is to find a nice hotel or lodging and then stay in it till it's time to leave tomorrow after breakfast.

A beautiful ancient town in Calabria with an ancient atmosphere, wonderful views of the sea, Stromboli and the sunset and not yet so affected by tourism. Right in the town a small but sufficient and beautiful beach, the best swimming far and wide. Excellent accessibility by train from Lamezia or Tropea (.... unless there is a strike or other outage :-o)
Tartufo and ice cream at Gelateria Morino are not to be missed!!
Very beautiful and refreshing are the two functional fountains in the city center.

Nobody speaks English and at restaurants you have to decide and eat fast. No warm welcome for tourists, they don't care.
We only recomnand restaurant Gambero Rosso at the beach and restaurant In, very welcoming.

We loved the choice of beaches and the crystal clear sea, we could see fish swimming within touching distance of us. When its really hot, there is plenty of shady beach areas if wanted. The old town was amazing to see from the beach underneath, the way its been built on the cliff. Good choice of restaurants and bars.
