The room was spacious and had all facilities needed and mentioned. The breakfast was excellent, it exceeded our expectations. The staff were very kind, polite and helpful. The hotel has a private parking space and it is positioned ideally to travel and explore Puglia (Monopoli, Alberobello, Polignano a Mare….all places are 10-20 min drive). The hotel is pet friendly with no additional charges.

Very nice hotel just half an hour north of Bari. Perfect place to stay for anyone looking to visit less popular parts of beautiful Italian coast. This is one of the best hotels in Molfetta, the staff is absolutely superb, the restaurant is top class and the view from our balcony was unforgettable. As a foreign tourist in Italy you might feel ignored or let down sometimes, especially if you visit popular tourist destinations. In Dogana Resort in Molfetta you will feel most welcome as their customer service is at highest level. We hope to visit Puglia again in future.

    This was an exceptional stay. I had a very late night arrival and a day later a 4am departure. The staff arranged a "pickup and delivery" that was seamless on Christmas Eve and day. The dining room manager made a special effort with the meal, the music, and the wine making my holiday unique. His staff did the same. The bed was very comfortable, I was able to walk to the train station and did a quick trip into Bari....marvelous...on the few hours that I had available. I thank all the staff that made my stay exceptional

    Excellent trullo house, well equipped and situated right on top of the trulli area. Great breakfast with a fine selection of items and personal attention to the details. Very helpful and polite staff, we even got an upgrade worth 30% of the original reservation. To sum it up - totally recommended, do not miss this one if you stay in Alberobello.

    Beautiful old town, with a huge number of restaurants and bars. Food was excellent throughout. Staff everywhere were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to help. We visited in September and it was very busy - We can only imagine it is too crowded and too hot in peak summer months. Be aware that beaches are small, but there are a number of them, within walking distance, or by taxi to larger beach clubs. The old town is really beautiful, with tiny streets, squares and alleyways. Worth packing comfy shoes and just wandering.

    Polignano a Mare is very much a tourist destination with lots of people packed into a small centre. It is worth a visit but perhaps not an extended stay when there are so many other (more interesting) places to visit in Puglia.

    Very unique experience. The Trulli Houses are amazing. There's plenty of restaurants and shopping. The shopping covers the gamut from souvenirs to luxury items. It's a walking city so bring your walking shoes!

    Beautiful old town area, quite compact with lovely restaurants and cafes. A few shops selling tasteful clothing and gifts, no tacky tourist tat. Stunning views across the surrounding countryside from many view points. Two nights gave us the opportunity to explore in a relaxing way but it’s possible a day trip would be enough for some. We enjoyed visiting Mandragon for both breakfast and in the evening for dinner. Best lasagna we’ve ever eaten.

    We love Altamura and its people.

    We love Altamura and its people. My grandparents came from here and it feels like home. The culture and rhythm of this city truly reflects Italian Life! It is not overpopulated with tourists. Definitely worth coming to if you want to feel relaxed and be a part of Italian life!

    Giovinazzo is a great little town, especially the historic centre. Less touristy than other places. Great fun exploring the little alleyways and squares. Plenty of restaurants serving excellent food,though we struggled to find just bars...we were there towards the end of their season though, so maybe more options in peak season? A good base for visiting Bari, Trani plus other sights inland

    Lovely typical authentic Italian town with interesting Centro Storico with its good range of cafes, restaurants and historical sights. No Sky Sports bars, Irish pubs or Sunday Roast Beef dinners (thankfully) ! Very family friendly and a good base to explore the wider area. Definitely not a tourist trap - mostly locals

    It's easy to get around quaint Bari and we used it as a base to visit other cities and towns in the region - Alberobello, Matera and Polignano e Mare. A lot to eat on the Via Argiro and in the Old Town.
