We was there for our last night in Iceland and it was very comfortable stay near to the aiport for the flight the morning after. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is so kind! Also the breakfast was very good and the room was perfect. Sure I will come back again for my next Iceland trip!

Everything was absolutely perfect! The hotel was spotlessly clean, with a stunning view of the bay that made our stay extra special. The service was outstanding - everyone was incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was delicious – beautifully served by the staff, with fresh fruit, creamy skyr yogurt with muesli, and a lovely selection of fish and cheese. It was the perfect place to relax after a long flight and start our Icelandic adventure. Highly recommended!

The perfect hotel near the airport. We got an upgrade on the Saphire suite for free! The staff was helpful, friendly and professional. The hotel room was one of the best we ever had. Stylish, innovative design, practical, clean, and equipped with automated features. Private jacuzzi on the balcony!     My stay at this resort was one of the most wonderful experiences I’ve ever had. Reception and Welcome: The reception and welcome were exceptional, with attention to detail from the moment we arrived, including luggage handling and valet parking service. Facilities: The experience of swimming in the hot spring waters was one of the best experiences of my life. Additionally, the resort offers fantastic facilities such as a cold jacuzzi, a hot jacuzzi, a steam room, relaxation rooms, massage rooms, reading rooms, a gym, and a terrace for viewing the Northern Lights. Accommodation: The rooms were very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. The decor was elegant, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The shower in the bathroom was the best ever, and the bed was one of the most comfortable in the world. The view from the balcony in the bedroom was very beautiful, and we were able to see the Northern Lights. Food: The food was delicious and varied. The restaurant offers a wide range of local and international dishes, and every meal was a unique experience. The service in the restaurant was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. Overall Impression: We enjoyed every moment we spent there, and everything was perfect. I will definitely repeat the experience many times.

    This hotel provided me with excellent service, including free airport shuttle at a very early hour (6 am). Room was fine. And the dinner was superb - much better than I would have expected given that there's no other choice for dining in the vicinity, as far as I could tell. Delicious food and again, great service. I recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay close to the airport.

    Great location 10 minutes from the Blue lagoon. We stayed here on our first night in Iceland going straight from the airport to the Blue lagoon then checked in. Not a lot here but there’s a pretty church here Tip: don’t buy supplies in the airport shop - we stocked up & it cost us a fortune. There’s a Netto in Grindavík

    Gardur is a convenient location close to the airport. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable, The access was easy with no stairs for brining in luggage. I liked the small town and visiting the lighthouses nearby. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again.

    We chose to stay here on our last night in Iceland, for the convenience of the airport. It was really good, a very easy 10/15 minute drive, with no traffic or weather worries so was well worth it! Its close to blue lagoon too so you could go there, but it was fully booked for us so we drove up to Sky lagoon instead to soother our aching muscles! Has a hot tub which we didn't use as we had been to the lagoon but would have been a nice way to finish off especially as we were treated to a great Aurora display.. a fantastic way to bid farewell to Iceland! Very well equipped and nicely furnished. The only slight negative if we were staying longer is the walls were a little thin in the semi detached and you could hear next door at times, as they had a full house, so I would opt for the detached for privacy but fine for us for one night.

    Vogar is obviously just a bedroom community for Reykjavik with little there except a hotel, a motel, and a single uninteresting restaurant. It is convenient to the airport, the Blue Lagoon, and an excellent lava tube attraction. It is also close to the recent volcano eruption should you want to see than. The volcano was sleeping when we visited. It is far out of the path of the lava flow so it is quite safe.

    Easy to reach accommodation, nice room in a house with big communal areas like kitchen and lounge/dining room. Great location to go anywhere in Iceland. This time I only came to see the active volcano and this accommodation was perfect for my trip. Described with no wifi available, while instead fast wifi was there, so much better than expected. Thanks again.

    this property was advised numerous times that the booking was made in error. The property made no effort to provide a solution and charged me for the full amount. Numerous emails were exchanged, and which I explained the situation and asked for either a refund or to accommodate me for the dates that I would be in Iceland. Nothing was done to help. Therefore, they charged a room however we were not in Iceland those days. Be careful with this hotel as they have shown not to be flexible and their customer service representatives can be pretty crude

    Grindavik is a small, beautiful fishing village close to the Geldingadalur volcano (but not too close) and the Blue Lagoon. It has many excellent hiking opportunities and great restaurants. Grindavik is surrounded by a beautiful natural landscape. Whale-watching, fishing, mountaineering, very friendly people, safe environment, you name it, Grindavik has it all!

    It was close to airport.

    It was close to airport. Room was overpriced for the accommodation. Breakfast we had to pay for but wish we would have just stopped at a gas station instead. The guy wears a chef jacket but only thing that was cooked was boiled eggs. Price for breakfast was too costly for what you get.
