BulgariaDefinitely a place I would visit again! Room was modern, clean and with amazingly comfortable bed. Bathroom had fantastic shower.
As a location there is supermarket on 2-3 minutes walking distance and for another like 10 more minutes you are at the centre.
The system with codes for the doors is pretty convenient and easy to use.
Overall this is a great option for staying in Reykjavík.

Absolutely amazing hotel. We stayed 5 nights here and honestly, it is the best hotel we've ever stayed in! Location is excellent - Almost everything in Reykjavik city centre is in walking distance from this hotel. Our room was very warm, quiet and comfortable. The view was Out of this world- I would highly recommend a sea view room. Breakfast was excellent and there are lots of options to choose from. The sky bar is absolutely breathtaking (day and night) and this is also where breakfast is served. It was such a luxury to have spa facilities in the hotel and an amazing way to start or end the day (€20 pp). The staff are exceptional; so professional,kind, and helpful. A special shout out to Farooq, who was incredibly kind and so helpful with tips and advice on where to go in Reykjavik. We had to leave very early (3am)on our last day and they had croissants and hot beverages for us to take with us on our journey. We are greatly looking forward to returning here again.

This hotel has it all! The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to answer any questions about what to do and where to go. Need a taxi? They’ll have one ready for you in about a minute—so convenient!
The restaurant was fantastic, offering delicious food. We had breakfast there daily, and it was the perfect way to start each day. Their coffee was excellent too—I loved it!
This is also an ideal spot if you’re doing tours. Bus Stop 13 is right in front of the hotel, making it super convenient for tour bus pickups. On cold days, you can comfortably wait in the cozy lobby until your ride arrives—a small detail that makes a big difference.
Our room was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

This property is amazing!! Very comfortable, warm and romantic. We paid additional for the romantic package on arrival and this really completed the stay. The facilities are very good with a kettle, microwave, oven available in the kitchen. The toilets/showers are clean and easily accessible. The hot tub was just lovely sitting out at night watching the stars. If you want something special for your trip I would stay here.

The room was really nice and cosy, I loved the decoration of the common areas and the location was convenient, but the best thing was the staff. I was there with my mom who doesn't speak English and Daniel was very sweet with her. He was very helpful and put up with all my questions (which honestly, is not easy 😅) will definitely stay there again when if I come back

Lovely city full of friendly people. Reykjavik is an easy and safe city to walk around. All sights were accessible. Plenty of choice for restaurants and bars. Obviously it is expensive by comparison to many destinations but on holiday sometimes you have to just go for it (I do feel sorry for the locals!). Ideal base for exploring this wonderful and very unique country. I took full day tours to Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon and Volcanic Peninsula. Also a spectacular night tour to see the Northern Lights that I shall remember forever. I'll be back again one day to explore more!

Hafnarfjorthur was between Keflavic and Reykjavik making it quite handy and more affordable to stay at. We rented a car to tour the Golden Circle, enjoy the Blue Lagoon, and sightsee in Reykjavik and felt that was a good choice. We didn't sightsee in Hafnarfjorthur.

Neighborhood is out of the way but has great views and animals and is near the road to Costco. we spent 2 weeks driving the entire island and enjoyed it. This place has a theme tastefully done and modern amenities.The Viking Hotel restaurant where you check -in has a nice themed restaurant good food and service.

This is one of ,,those,, accommodations where you want to spend the night after a week full of traveling. It is clear that the owner has a sense of detail and quality. You can feel the quality on the materials and furnishings, the equipment of the entire apartment and the services that are here. Everything is still new, clean. Situated in a quiet location. We slept very well! Parking in front of the entrance, Accessibility anywhere is perfect. Since it is new here, the accommodation does not have any review and even though I usually do not write reviews, I think this one deserves one. For the price, it is exclusive accommodation and we will definitely come back here.

We are use to very large rooms with kitchens in our hotel room. While we vacationed in Iceland we stayed at VRBO’s but we saw this unique hotel and had to stay here and experience it!

Hlid Fisherman's Village had lots of "viking" character with some very interesting maritime realia, close proximity to Icelandic horses, heritage chickens, a koi pond, cedar sauna and two rooftop hot tubs. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the view was to the sea.
