This property is beautifully renovated. The personnel is very kind and accommodating. The hotel apparently only has room service during the day, but the staff brought me chai in the evening after asking. I booked an extra night, but the room I had was already booked, so they upgraded me for one night. Breakfast was amazing and the expresso is really good! It was a treat staying here, I hope to be back!

My stay at Little Peepal has been the highlight of my trip - Parvat is an amazing host and very genuine. I would highly recommend the tours he offers. The short walking tour to see real side of Udaipur is a unique experience, and so too is village tour, where you can see the nature and life outside of the city.

i really enjoyed my stay at the Island tower guest house, it's a charming place where the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and at home. Mr. Beehm Singh is probably the best host i had on my India journey. The building itself is older but was recently fully re-designed and has been painted by amazing artists. Every room/suite is different and the artwork looks even better in real then on the fotos.it gives you the feeling of being a Maharaja in his royal chambers. i enjoyed breakfast and dinner here on the lovely rooftop terrace. the food was freshly prepared and delicious!

Pavan and Nitesh went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable, especially organizing a flawless New Year’s Eve and birthday celebration for my wife. Intimate (3 large rooms), beautifully decorated and well appointed hotel by the lake, with easy access to touristic sites and shopping. the lake view from the room at the top with its large terrace is fabulous. it is only very partial in the other two but breakfast on the rooftop makes up for it. The beds are great and the bathrooms perfect. Jassu, the personable man in charge of running single-handedly the hotel 24 hours a day welcomes and registers guests, cleans (thoroughly) the hotel and the rooms, cooks breakfast, gets up a few times every night to chase barking dogs away, provides tourist information, etc. After 20+ years on the job, he is quite familiar with service providers, restaurant operators and shopkeepers around and is a mine of information and advice for residents.

My stay at Hotel Lakend in Udaipur from December 11 to 13 was absolutely amazing! The staff, especially Ranveer Singh and his team, were top-notch. The food was a real highlight - delicious, beautifully presented, and the quality was just fantastic. Big shoutout to Arjun Belliappa for managing things so smoothly and coordinating everything. It was easy to reach him and very delight to talk with with him. Room service was really fast. Staff was always smiling and cooperative The best part? Waking up to the stunning view of the lake every morning. I even got to explore the surroundings on complimentary cycles. All in all, Hotel Lakend surpassed my expectations in every way. Highly recommend for a memorable and delightful stay

The Resort is newly built and cleaned well maintained. Swimming pool was also well maintained but most of guest were not using swimming costume that creates hygiene issue. Rooms are large and nice. Atmosphere and Ambiennce of resort is amazing.

One must avoid the weekends as the city is jam packed with cars from Gujrat on weekends. Enjoying the market and tourist attractions became a challenge due to overcrowding. As a city, it is a charming place and must visit at least once.

Udaipur appeared a bit more organized and clean than a few other cities we visited. The City Palace and other monuments which were under the administration of the the Royal Family seems to be well maintained despite their age. The city area, lakes and surrounds were easily accessible and beautiful for tourist visits. The Taj Lake Hotel, being an Island on its own was magical to visit for dinner after an evening cruise around the lake. Make one feel like James Bond.

If you want to see Rajasthan at peace then I highly recommend to do Udaipur and Jaisalmer. Jaipur is good but chaotic. Also, hotels are more business oriented rather than a resort meant for family vacation.
