It’s a great place to get off the tourist path and take time to relax and unwind. I spent 6 days here and didn’t want to leave. It is very peaceful amongst coconut trees and close to a beautiful river. Restaurant is a nice walk along a shady, tree lined road and will deliver food if you want. There is a small grocery store close by for essentials. Rash is a very nice chap and full of good advice.

Great stay, amazing food, superb location, and above all, the warmest hospitality that you can ask for is what would be a summary of Poothali Homestay. It feels like a home away from home. A quaint village setup, a nearby beach, greenery all around, and smiling faces everywhere you go, make it a place you want to go back to. The food prepared was lip-smackingly good with the authentic taste that you just crave for after you return back from vacation. Rustic yet luxurious an amazing property next to a small backwater and amazing clean beach. Staff were friendly and attentive. Meals at the seafood restaurant were scrumptious. Spa was a genuine treat and early morning yoga too. Overall we loved our stay.
