Such a perfect place here! After visiting another hotel with similar range of price in Jaisalmer, this one is incomparable. One of the best place where we were in Rajastan. Our room was so well designed, comfortable and so many small attentions were given A light & soft perfume is diffused in all the hotel. The staff was so attentive during all our stay here cough ? Ginger tea, train ? Sandwich). We felt like at home. Cherry on the cake, the hotel is very close of the Fort and offer probably one of the best view on it; you can reach the Museum & beautiful old streets in less than 10 minutes by walking. Thank you so much My only regret is to not stay more than one night!

Friendly staff, very helpful.Great view of fort only 6 mins away to entrance in a tuk tuk. We used the small rooftop pool to cool off daily and used the gym! Very nice breakfast included and dinners were delicious with a good show of dancing and singing. Room was comfortable, clean.

We stayed at Hotel Golden Haveli nd it was splendid. Everything at the hotel was great, delicious food, friendly and courteous staff, the ambience, rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. The Housekeeping staff particularly Staff were really helpful and assisted us with our queries. Although we couldn't explore the Morning Breakfast because of the Getting late, apart from that everything was just great. The location of the hotel is also very good as all the tourist attractions are within few minutes walking distance Me and my family had a great time so thank you so much Golden Haveli Team

When visiting Jaisalmer it is a MUST to choose a hotel within the Fort. The very best is Hotel Victoria, Room No. 2, because it has one of the very rare balconies (spacious enough for a couple in love) where you can pass the afternoon & evening hours, enjoying your dinner and/or a cold Kingfisher and watching the busy life down in the city. All the rooms are very cosy and individually furnished. The hotel staff, mostly young Nepali, is very friendly and helpful. English is well understood.

It was truly an amazing experience being here at Raj safari Best hotel with an amazingly helpful staff. Their hospitality is first class, if you happen to face any issues they resolve it quickly without you having to cross check with them. The ambience is rustic giving off palace vibes. Good place for short stay, with Jaisalmer fort being the main attraction. I would recommend staying and eating within the fort premises. However the main activities are at the Sand dunes (Thar desert) about 30 kms from the city. Must visit.

To be honest I thought it would be a continuous desert beyond Jaisalmer before our visit there. Know that the dunes are formed at certain places only. But they are obviously out of the world. One has to visit it once.

If you want to visit proper desert with Sandunes then Sam is...

If you want to visit proper desert with Sandunes then Sam is the place. Gets a bit crowded during winter season but it's ideal climate to visit Jaisalmer. You can do Jeep Safari for sunset and sunrise. Same with camel safari. Desert bike and parasailing also available. If you are traveling in winter grab some warm clothes as it gets really cold in the mornings and evenings especially due to the winds. there are tons of camps and most of them offer cultural program. There are also lots of restuarants around and personal vehicle can be really helpful.

Place is good i got to stay at the Suryagarah and the stay...

Place is good i got to stay at the Suryagarah and the stay was amazing but the stay at the tented place was horrible and not upto the expectation and people should avoid going to the sum (SAM) and go to another one where the really culture and heritage exist. Here it is only full of rougues and thugs and wish the RSTDC takes note of the things and do the soul searching before the SAM is aborted by the tourist
