Lots to do around the city and outside. A lot of gigs and an active night life. A car is a must if you want to see the natural beauty around the city. The city gaol is a must. We stayed at Greenhills Hotel on the Ennis Road—great location with a bus stop just down the road that takes you straight into the city centre. Before dinner, we stopped by The White House for a few drinks. The Guinness was excellent, but I’d give the white wine a miss—not the best selection. The pub has a lovely traditional Irish vibe with some modern touches, making it a really pleasant spot. Dinner was at Freddy’s Restaurant, where the food was absolutely delicious and the staff were attentive and friendly. We wrapped up the evening at The Copper Room, a stylish underground wine bar with an impressive selection of wines, ports, and cheese boards. I’ll definitely be heading back there next time I’m in Limerick! Best part? I’ve hardly missed a yearly trip to Tralee in over 40 years I’ve been to every attraction in Tralee and surrounding areas nowadays I take a more leisurely approach a few pints meet up with longtime mates and generally have a good time! Kinsale is one of my favourite places in Ireland, we love the chilled vibe of the town, the quirky streets and shops, fantastic coffee shops, bakeries, craft shops and of course its famous restaurants. Ennis is a really nice town to visit. There's a nice atmosphere to the place. Even though the whole of the centre was being dug up for improvements it was still really interesting to walk around.
