NorwayI was expecting your basic airport hotel but this one was NICE. Super friendly reception manager, clean and nice looking spacious bright rooms-i had room with a little kitchenette (fridge and a micro). Also my room was in a quiet section so I got the rest I could. Short walk to grocery store Eurospar and Lidl for those last minute shoppings. Nice looking menu although i only ate breakfast-which catered all I needed. Definitely loved this room and wish I could have stayed longer. I was in 4th floor watching storm Eowyn sweep the world outside. Theres also a shuttle bus to the airport but because of Red alert due to Eowyn it was not going that morning. Must say i also loved the dim lighting at breakfast, a nice touch i can't say I've seen before.

CanadaYeliz was my first contact in hotel. What a lovely person. I had an issue with checking my flight etc. The patience the girl showed me was way beyond expectation. She was very kind and did not rush me in the process. Really hope when I stay there again that she will be my first contact again. Don't know the name of the gentleman that did the cleaning on my floor. He was very helpful.

Room was comfortable and very clean. Check in process was quick and without issue. We had an Ocean view from our room on the main floor, but rooms on the 2nd floor would have a much better view of the Ocean. That being said, you can simply walk outside of the hotel and the Ocean is literally right in front of you! Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Home made bread, yogurt, option to have a full Irish breakfast as well (don't skip this option).

We had a very comfortable one night stay at Jimmy and Mary’s excellent B and B. They are so friendly - Jimmy offered us whisky nightcaps on arrival (it was after dinner!).
The room was large and nicely decorated and very comfortable. We slept very well. We didn’t have time to enjoy the outside seating but it would be lovely on a summer day.
The breakfast was outstanding including fresh fruit, lots f delicious cooked options, pastries and more.

the staff were just amazing. didn't catch any names but in particular the day staff on reception the 23rd/ 24th a man and woman and the 2 ladies serving breakfast on the morning of the 24th. they were so good with our toddler and she really warmed to them

The house is beautiful, the grounds are lovely, the breakfasts delicious. The hosts give excellent service, are most helpful and very friendly and welcoming.

My stay was very brief for practical reasons, but the facilities were good, as was the service. Food was also excellent. The shuttle bus service to the airport was brilliant. Spot on time and we left at 4.00 am!

A place with a bad rep but perfectly OK during daylight hours.
The Metro feels totally secure and transport into town or out to airport is simple and low-to-zero cost in both directions.

A bustling town right by the beach.
A bustling town right by the beach. We tried to get the DART into Dublin from the station but there were no trains running. A couple of workmen told us to catch the 42 bus which we did.
We ate dinner in a lively Italian restaurant in town and had a nice walk around the marina.

A pleasant setting looking out on the Dublin estuary with lovely sunset and sunrise colours during our one-night stay. Good walking to the lovely harbour and sea views at Howth, along either side of the peninsula, or via buses or rail from Sutton station.

Howth was a find for us.
Howth was a find for us. We go to Ireland a lot and usually stay a night or two in Malahide near the airport. This year we decided to try somewhere new and arrived at Howth. This is a destination all by itself. A bustling sea port and the gateway to Ireland's Eye and the coast. The town itself is busy and filled with art and other interesting locations. Howth is famous for its smoked salmon and is filled with interesting restaurants. It is also only a forty minute DART ride into Dublin and twenty minutes to the airport.

The room was very comfortable and well appointed. The check-in and check-out process was smooth. The staff were very helpful. The Beaumont House pub and restaurant are beautiful with great food. The location is close to the airport. I definitely plan on staying here in the future.
