Tina and her manager were exceptionally helpful under difficult circumstances for our party. They went above and beyond to make our trip happen and did so with a friendly and inviting attitude. Glad we booked an extra night. It gave us time to explore some of the peninsula, so we were there two nights. Met some nice people from Europe who were visiting Ireland too. The kitchen was well stocked and available to use after breakfast hours if needed. No TV whatsoever but we were ok with that and enjoyed the break. It wasn't far to Dingle, the Blasket Heritage/informational center, Dunsmore Head and Inch Beach. Live music was fun in town but we were told the town closed up on Sunday night so were glad we didn't make the drive into town that night. There was good music at the Dingle Pub on a Monday night and the sunrises were fabulous from our second floor room. We would definitely recommend this place!

It was amazing. We ordered the eggs benedict and the pancakes; they were dreamy. They also had a big buffet with sweets, croissants, scones, jams, and cereals. The coffee was perfect, too. They had a chocolate cake all night, which was helpful :) The room was very comfy, with everything you expect in a hotel. The shower was hot and had good pressure.

One of my favourite beach in all Ireland with Fermoyle Beach on the other side of the peninsula. Stupendous views. I'd recommend booking dinner at Out of the Blue in Dingle. The best seafood restaurant in Ireland in my view. For kids there's a pet farm after ventry where you can feed sheep, lambs, goats, alpacas, horses, pigs.

The hotel we stayed in was probably the only one of significance in Annascaul. And it was great. We loved the village as it has character and is near Dingle etc., But is a great small town of itself and it has the history of the Antarctic hero, Tom Crean. Well worth a visit for a night or two or as a base for swimming, hikes, excursions in beautiful country.

This is a very small village. If you are looking for lots of activities within walking distance, this is not the place. The views and walking trails here are lovely, but no shops or restaurants. That being said, the locals are absolutely warm and inviting.

The Irish foodie and cultural gem that should not be missed...

The Irish foodie and cultural gem that should not be missed and deserves at least one overnight in this colourful port town. Watch out for the numerous festivals held here throughout the year, with some amazing ones held in the later part of the year when most places are very quiet, try the October Féile Bia (food festival), or in November book a few days for the Film Festival, Literary Festival or Other Voices (absolutely unique festival). As for food, there's so much choice here, the recently opened 505 Restaurant stands out as exceptional in a town with some of the best eating (Half Door, Out of the Blue, Doyles, Fentons etc) and drinking venues (Currans, Dick Macs, Foxy Johns etc) in the whole of Ireland.

Annascaul is a beautiful little village with 5 vibrant pubs, a cafe, a shop, a pottery cafe and a jewellery making shop. It is positioned in a great location, just a few mins from gorgeous beaches, mountains and lakes. 15mins from Dingle. It is a small village steeped in amazing history and locals are welcoming to all. Highly recommend the river walk, a trip to Inch beach and Annascaul lake. Dan Foleys pub is a treasure of a pub and the South Pole Inn is a must.
