The hotel has a good location, 1 hour walk from the Cliffs of Moher. There is a bus from Ennis, so getting to the hotel without a car is not a problem. The bus stop is right next to the hotel. The workers are very nice, the administrator advised us an interesting route to see as many beautiful places as possible. The room itself is well equipped, with a nice view. Since we were not in the peak tourist season, breakfast consisted of croissants, toast, jam, tea and coffee. That was very nice of the hotel!

One of the best hotels we've ever been to. Unique location by the coast, very nice interior design. Very friendly staff. The room was a bit too cold for us in the beginning but they were very accommodating and turned up the heating. There's a beautiful restaurant/bar (also for a lovely breakfast), a cute cafe and a cozy pub with live music and excellent burgers.

Charming little town with quick access to the Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher. The pubs in town pride themselves on showcasing traditional Irish music and nobody does it better... and may I say the Irish Stew at McDermotts Pub is AMAZING! Add the Doolin Caves to the mix and this Irish town is a Winner!!!

Killaloe / Ballina is a beautiful twin town spanning the river Shannon. Great river walks, the old road bridge is now pedestrianised making it easy to go from the Ballina to the Killaloe side and vice versa. There's a variety of restaurants, coffee shops and pubs with indoor and outdoor areas. The Lakeside Hotel Killaloe (on the Ballina side) serves excellent food and drinks. Avoid the Bóruna Gastro Pub for now, it's dirty and the service is poor, could be great with it's rooftop bar but needs a refresh of the property and attitudes. Tuscany Bistro on the Ballina side serves excellent food in with great service Raw Interiors serves great food and coffee on the Killaloe side quirky building and great service

I loved how quiet, simple, and rugged the landscape is. Milltown Malbay is perfectly gentle, sweet, and wonderful to explore for a day or two. The swimming is wild and next level Irish. The Cliffs of Kilkee are just as miraculous as the Cliffs of Moher, and free.

A great little village with several places to eat and drink and the beautiful Bunratty castle and Folk park to visit. I highly recommend the Creamery and Durty Nelly's, I didn't eat anywhere else as we ran out of time. Bunratty is a great location to visit so many places. You can park and access it so easily off the N18 and be on your way. We went to the Cliffs of Moher and Lehinch and stayed a night in Limerick though if I did it again I would have stayed at The Courtyard B&B in Bunratty for the two nights, it was lovely.

Difficult to find. No silage on the road leading to the house no sign outside the house. No light outside the door for a guest coming in at night. Used my phone light to unlock door. Owner's room upstairs bathroom was between the rooms. No privacy! Breakfast was small. Tea made from a teabag in a cup. No teapot..No cereals left out. For the money paid it was very poor. We didn't spend much time in Kilkee as it was just a base for visiting friends and family nearby, but we did walk on the beach and did most of the cliff walk. It's a good base for exploring the Loop Head peninsula too, but we did that on a previous visit. I would definitely stay there again, although not in the same apartments.
