PhilippinesWhat a hidden treasure of a hotel! The breakfast alone was amazing!! Hot buffet with thick bacon sausage and eggs! Also had a seperate buffet with kiwi, apples, toast, & cereal. Great coffee and great value!
They also have a shuttle from the ferry to the hotel which was nice since the hotel is a 10 minute walk from the terminal!

Well, we LOVED absolutely everything! - from the perfect communication (super-detailed - everyone should communicate like that) to the 'Welcome Croissants' and batch of ice per person! The place was flawless and immaculate, with every possible facility/appliance you could imagine. 4 spacey bedrooms with big, comfy beds, huge living room - bread, sauces, spices, classy cutlery, great bathroom (shower with easy access), anything you could possibly think of! The place is in a beautiful area - perfect for those looking for something special and not crowded, to reboot, re-charge and just breathe! I went with my parents for their 40th Wedding Anniversary and we loved it instantly - each bit and every moment, wish we stayed longer but had a really busy schedule. We had a lovely walk to the near Foirnis Island, beautiful views, we are really glad we have chosen Audley's and recommend to absolutely everyone, especially those seeking serenity. THE NEW STANDARD! LatviaWe had a wonderful stay at the Sea View Apartment. The place is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable visit. It is very clean and has a brand new renovation.
The accommodation offers more than we expected, not only inside but also outside – with lovely charming donkeys nearby, which made the experience unique and delightful.
The hosts were very welcoming and kind, making us feel at home. The surroundings are simply magnificent, with beautiful nature all around. It is the perfect place to find peace and rest away from the noise of the city.

Such a beautiful island. Peace, nature, wildlife, beautiful hand knitted aran jumpers in the shops, good food and friendly local people. There are horses and carts that will take you round the island. What a way to travel! Loved my time there.Guest review byJacquelineSlovenia - 8.0

The island is truly amazing.
The island is truly amazing. Great accommodations, great food, great people. I just happened to be there during the Bodhran Festival and it was incredible. I loved how everyone participated sharing their talents. I will definitely return. Get the Crepes by the pier. The St Tola crepe is to die for. Excellent property and fantastic hosts. Great communication when I had an email query. Lovely extras like milk and bread in the fridge when we arrived. Absolutely spotless property and very well equipped. The bathrooms were lovely and there was plenty hot water. Lots of space, it's a huge house! Plenty entertaining space. To get a feeling for the island you should really stay more than a few hours. We stayed overnight so and got to chill in the local bar, enjoy the restaurants. Was fantastic place to wander around and experience every type of weather and the views are breath taking. There are 3 main bars/restaurants that wont see you go wrong. A pint of Guinness is a must. There are a variety of tea/coffee shops serving home made scones and baked goods. getting around is so easy either through bike hire (10 euro per day) or on one of the horse and cart trips. The island is a little hilly but very easy to walk about. Highlights include the beach, plassy ship wreck, light house and the castle. A trip to the aran islands would not be complete with out a purchase of some aran knitwear.Guest review byNolanIreland - 8.0

Pub food is about the only option, it’s a little elevated at the Hotel. We took the hop on bus, only two stops, not a tour - the driver didn’t say much. The island is absolutely isolated.
The island is absolutely isolated. Only transportation is bicycles. Most tourists arrive on the morning ferry and leave on the evening ferry so when you stay overnight, it is very, very quiet and isolated. We really loved that part of it! “Guest review byDavidUnited States - 10.0

Outside the town is more interesting than inside.
Outside the town is more interesting than inside. But avoid the minibus tours. Our driver, John, spent five frickin' hours driving around trying to find more passengers, during which time he showed us only two of the sights. He also spent some of the time essentially providing a taxi service, and treated his taxi customers with much more consideration than his tour passengers.
