The staff is superb, always kind and patient to help, the restaurant staff is equally helpful. The hotel is a tranquility oasis in the middle of a busy touristic destination like Tanah Lot Temple which is busy every day very popular at sunset where the sky is just magnificent in colorful nuances for the perfect picture. There are many shops and the price is reasonable but to get a good deal you need to bargain always!

We had an unforgettable stay at Pitu a Punggul Village Escape. :) From the moment we arrived, the warmth and generosity of the Agung brothers (owners) and their incredible staff made us feel truly welcome. Their hospitality went far beyond expectations, every detail was thoughtfully handled, and the service was exceptional. Pitu offers much more than just a beautiful place to stay. From great tours and delicious dinners to seamless drop-off services, everything was designed to make our experience effortless and memorable. The communication with Mrs. Esa via WhatsApp was super convenient. Mr. Agung personally guided us to some of Bali’s most breathtaking spots, including his family temples, which were deeply moving and absolutely worth the visit and stay on their own. The villa itself exceeded all expectations, more stunning than the photos suggest, with an atmosphere of nature and authenticity that’s hard to find. Truly something for nature lovers. We can also highly recommend the floating breakfast. It was beautifully presented. What truly made our stay special were the people. Mr. Agung, Mrs. Esa, and the entire team have hearts of gold. Their kindness and sincerity left a lasting impression (!!), we genuinely didn’t want to leave. It’s rare to encounter such genuine care, and we feel lucky to have experienced it. They strive for perfection to give their guests the best satisfaction. Thank you to the Agung brothers, Mrs. Esa, and everyone at Pitu for an extraordinary stay. Amazing luxury ecolodge right in the slopes of Mount Batukaru run by a Balinese-adopted Australian family. Beautiful houses and architecture. Natural swimming pool, plus river pools. Being in the middle of nature, just jungle sounds. The best is all the community and environmental projects the lodge supports with the income they get, plus projects to preserve the rainforest. The restaurant serves delicious dishes and exquisite desserts. It was a bit out of our budget but for a few nights it was a dream to be there.

Our stay in Bedugul was a tranquil beginning to our stay in Bali. We loved the variety of scenery and activities. Although drivers were needed to access most of the activities most of these were not far from the hotel. Interactions with drivers and staff felt authentic. Loved that we could go for walks around GiriwoodHotel too. The lower temperatures in this region were very welcomed too.

The peacefulness and serenity. Very traditional Bali which is a breath of fresh air away from the hustle and bustle of central main areas. Would only recommend as a stay if you're looking for a quiet relaxing vacation. Very easy to get around if you hire a scooter otherwise you walk every where. There are a few restaurants and warungs on the beach side and up the road but nothing 5 star. Some classier spots about 10 minutes away from the main surf beach.

This is basic accommodation, but reasonable value for money.

This is basic accommodation, but reasonable value for money. It's immediately across the road from the terraces, and the walking track access. The owner is a nice guy, and does everything, reception, cleaning, cooking, etc. The breakfast was basic but tasty, and the Chicken Curry he cooked for me for lunch one of the best I've had in a while. He has a very friendly dog that followed me everywhere, and enjoyed a pat and tummy rub.

Stayed in Sesandan Village- gorgeous rolling hills full of greenery and smiling faces. I ate primarily at Bali Red Roses (food cooked by Mr. Wayan's wife). I am an ultra runner so I walked almost everywhere with the occasional trip to Tabanan. The hiking, running, and walking are wonderful. Learn about dog packs and being the alpha though because you will need to learn to handle the chatty dogs.

We loved the Joglo accommodation we stayed in.

We loved the Joglo accommodation we stayed in. It was in perfect condition, very clean and spacious. Aircon worked well and surprisingly no issue with mozzies in the room. We were thankful to have toothpaste and toothbrush’s in the room for us, also body wash and shampoo. We brought along our little dog and am thankful for our experience there. For dinner we had meals delivered by a local Warung that was recommended by the hotel staff. The next morning we went to the local beach, it’s not one to swim at. More a place to get a few photos and move on. Not much to do around the area, just relax and unwind.

Already did review but also they can send out laundry that can be done overnight for a reasonable price! Extremely helpful when on a long trip and packing light. Handara gate is not really worth paying and standing in line for. Go to Wanagiri for great photos. Banyu wana amertha falls is recommended. 3 waterfalls, no mafia guides harassing you, can take motorbike down to falls for cheap, not many people

We stayed at Villa Taman di Blayu for 5 nights, for us it was a retreat to sit and chill. For this it was perfect.....after travelling through some pretty hectic traffic to get there. From the Villa there was no traffic noise, it overlooks rice fields and has lovely grounds garden / pool / ponds that surround the restaurant. The streets surrounding were safe to walk around.
