We had an unforgettable stay at Pitu a Punggul Village Escape. :) From the moment we arrived, the warmth and generosity of the Agung brothers (owners) and their incredible staff made us feel truly welcome. Their hospitality went far beyond expectations, every detail was thoughtfully handled, and the service was exceptional. Pitu offers much more than just a beautiful place to stay. From great tours and delicious dinners to seamless drop-off services, everything was designed to make our experience effortless and memorable. The communication with Mrs. Esa via WhatsApp was super convenient. Mr. Agung personally guided us to some of Bali’s most breathtaking spots, including his family temples, which were deeply moving and absolutely worth the visit and stay on their own. The villa itself exceeded all expectations, more stunning than the photos suggest, with an atmosphere of nature and authenticity that’s hard to find. Truly something for nature lovers. We can also highly recommend the floating breakfast. It was beautifully presented. What truly made our stay special were the people. Mr. Agung, Mrs. Esa, and the entire team have hearts of gold. Their kindness and sincerity left a lasting impression (!!), we genuinely didn’t want to leave. It’s rare to encounter such genuine care, and we feel lucky to have experienced it. They strive for perfection to give their guests the best satisfaction. Thank you to the Agung brothers, Mrs. Esa, and everyone at Pitu for an extraordinary stay. Breakfast was delicious and so were the fruits. All staff were dedicated and friendly. Balian Beach is very quiet with only few tourists; it’s a relief after Ubud’s jungle! The room and pool are always nickel! Did refill my insulated water bottle with drinking water provided in a jar at breakfast, thus using less plastic bottles.

wonderful place in the middle of nowhere. their cooks create wonderful dishes. the little house is cosy, clean. the bed is comfortble. you can make your own tea and they have filtered water. every day they offer some activities (e.g. Yoga class or making a hat out of coconutleaves) The pictures on booking do not do justice to the accommodation. it is even more beautyful. the staff is very nice. they love children and they where so nice to our daughter. we can recommend this place.

The room was delightful and the staff were all very warm, welcoming and helpful. The pool and garden were perfect, it was a lovely peaceful location to switch off from everything. Although there were other people staying there (there are six lodges in total), the pool was never busy and there was always space.

We had the best accommodation experience of our Bali trip at Nyoman's guest house. Their place is a true oasis, where every detail is carefully thought out to provide an incredible experience for guests. The room was spacious and the bathroom was sparkling clean. We were impressed by the kindness and helpfulness of Nyoman and his team, always attentive to our needs. The food served was simply amazing, with delicious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Additionally, we appreciated being able to rent a scooter directly on site, which made getting around much easier. The atmosphere of the place is truly unique, surrounded by lush nature. We can't wait to stay at Nyoman's again on our next trip to Bali!

Very calm relaxing vibes here. The staff are attentive and helpful. The views are stunning and it was interesting watching the field workers tend to the rice fields/terraces. We had a riverside suite near the restaurant and I believe the views on that side are better than the lobby side. The restaurant has a small menu but everything we ate was delicious! Wr stayed for 2 nights which was plenty for us. Definitely reccomend Umasari if you want to wind down and relax in the countryside.

Staff were fabulous. Location exactly what we wanted, quiet and very relaxing. The staff were very attentive to our every needs, and went above and beyond. We would stay here again for sure. It is expensive but for us was worth the money. The breakfast was excellent and varied, and the restaurant in the hotel and the Teppanyaki were top class.

Our stay in Bedugul was a tranquil beginning to our stay in Bali. We loved the variety of scenery and activities. Although drivers were needed to access most of the activities most of these were not far from the hotel. Interactions with drivers and staff felt authentic. Loved that we could go for walks around GiriwoodHotel too. The lower temperatures in this region were very welcomed too.

The peacefulness and serenity. Very traditional Bali which is a breath of fresh air away from the hustle and bustle of central main areas. Would only recommend as a stay if you're looking for a quiet relaxing vacation. Very easy to get around if you hire a scooter otherwise you walk every where. There are a few restaurants and warungs on the beach side and up the road but nothing 5 star. Some classier spots about 10 minutes away from the main surf beach.

We were in a good location from everything we wanted to do🤔🤔 We ate at many restaurants in the area. I got to watch the AFL and NRL games at Rama Garden bar and Restaurant. The seafood there was very good and freshly cooked.

This is basic accommodation, but reasonable value for money.

This is basic accommodation, but reasonable value for money. It's immediately across the road from the terraces, and the walking track access. The owner is a nice guy, and does everything, reception, cleaning, cooking, etc. The breakfast was basic but tasty, and the Chicken Curry he cooked for me for lunch one of the best I've had in a while. He has a very friendly dog that followed me everywhere, and enjoyed a pat and tummy rub.

Stayed in Sesandan Village- gorgeous rolling hills full of greenery and smiling faces. I ate primarily at Bali Red Roses (food cooked by Mr. Wayan's wife). I am an ultra runner so I walked almost everywhere with the occasional trip to Tabanan. The hiking, running, and walking are wonderful. Learn about dog packs and being the alpha though because you will need to learn to handle the chatty dogs.

We loved the Joglo accommodation we stayed in. It was in perfect condition, very clean and spacious. Aircon worked well and surprisingly no issue with mozzies in the room. We were thankful to have toothpaste and toothbrush’s in the room for us, also body wash and shampoo. We brought along our little dog and am thankful for our experience there. For dinner we had meals delivered by a local Warung that was recommended by the hotel staff. The next morning we went to the local beach, it’s not one to swim at. More a place to get a few photos and move on. Not much to do around the area, just relax and unwind.

Already did review but also they can send out laundry that can be done overnight for a reasonable price! Extremely helpful when on a long trip and packing light. Handara gate is not really worth paying and standing in line for. Go to Wanagiri for great photos. Banyu wana amertha falls is recommended. 3 waterfalls, no mafia guides harassing you, can take motorbike down to falls for cheap, not many people

We stayed at Villa Taman di Blayu for 5 nights, for us it was a retreat to sit and chill. For this it was perfect.....after travelling through some pretty hectic traffic to get there. From the Villa there was no traffic noise, it overlooks rice fields and has lovely grounds garden / pool / ponds that surround the restaurant. The streets surrounding were safe to walk around.
