The hotel grounds are large, very picturesque, and lush with greenery, featuring beautiful common areas designed in authentic Balinese style. Everything was clean. The beach was amazing! We didn’t expect to be able to swim both at high and low tide, and there weren’t any strong waves. The sand is white, and there were only a few people around. Breakfast was great, with eggs, pancakes and waffles station, fruit station, and a nice selection of fresh pastries. The room was spacious. The entire team deserves admiration – the staff is large, but they work seamlessly. Everyone is polite, efficient, and the service in the restaurants, room cleaning, security, porters, and maintenance of the grounds – everything runs like clockwork.

Everything will be served by your butler. The room service food was fantastic. Every food I ordered arrived fast, and every single dish was fresh and delicious. They 've got a good chef. Hendra, my butler, was very nice and kind. He helped with every little thing I needed even cleaning, serving food, and taking to new places in the resort. He knew what I needed. The ocean view...the swimming pool... people... everything is fantastic! I 'd love to come and visit again soon.

I had an issue when I arrived, but the front of house manager was apologetic and compensated me. Couldn't fault one bit. Staff were amazing. Facilities were amazing. Really really impressed. Great place.

Great place. Lots of excellent restaurants and beautiful beaches nearby. My favourite was Nyang Nyang Beach which is easy to reach. It's a sandy beach with great waves for surfing. Swimming is a bit more tricky as the bottom is rocky and the currents can be a bit challenging. There is a bar for refreshment and the beach is spacious and doesn't feel crowded. Uluwatu attracts lots of surfers and that's a bit the vibe that you get here.

Bali in general, is overrated! Marketing, movies and other things give us a different impression about Bali. In some isolated spots, you can find clean beaches and water, etc In general, it is full of resorts and hotels; the place is overcrowded with no planning, reflecting on the traffic/roads, which is horrible, and the beaches are polluted. It's my 3rd time there, but I know what I'm signing up for. My first time I was imagining Bali as the advertisement (tropical paradise). Is not! For me, is all about the resort where I'm staying. And price.

Fantastic culture, some great places to go in the middle, and North of the Island. I spent a week in Ubud, then a week on the South coast. I could have spent 2 weeks in Ubud, and based most of my travels from there. Beaches in the South are something else, great surf, etc. Things to note which you may not expect. Traffic is mental. Most roads are bad, poorly surfaced, narrow and congested. Most people get around by scooter, which is fine, but be prepared for the fumes if you're doing more than a pop-to-the-shops on one. And the endless 'sell'. I was taking my own picture at a restaurant and was told I would have to pay for it (Rice Terraces) They aren't all like that, don't get me wrong, but they will push it. Fun can be had with haggling, Rule of thumb, offer half their asking price, then work back from there. Be prepared to be followed down the street if you don't buy it. Food is amazing. Try the local dishes, so much better than the same dishes back home. And why would you fly half way round the world to have fish & chips in a different country? And, getting there. Get your visa before going, they have 40-ish automated passport gates, which you can use if you have a digital passport. Use the Gojek App for taxi, or even food and other things whilst you're there (Like Uber).

I recommend taking the shortcut on foot from the accommodation – turn left onto the main road, then immediately left again down a narrow alley. This will take you straight to the cafés, restaurants, shops, and spas. Be sure to visit Kelly's Warung at Bingin Beach, try a Pilates class at Fondue Studio, and enjoy dinner at Casa Asia.

Uluwatu is definitely worth visiting, we came for a wedding and ended up enjoying every minute of our stay. The people are so warm, there are so many great places to eat and beaches to explore. Roads are quite narrow, but getting around is super easy with Grab.

A beautiful, manicured ‘tourist only’ area. The beaches are stunningly beautiful golden sand with little swell or waves. The coastal walk makes an excellent stroll between the different hotels which merge into each other. The food options were as good as anywhere you will travel, but at a premium price compared to the rest of Bali. We found eating out, similar in price to our home country (New Zealand). Alcohol was definitely cheaper. Overall, a great place to go for a pampered, relaxing stay in the tropics.

I especially like the Sidewalk Shopping Centre, where you can find Western food, good coffee, and food giftsto take home. The fish market is also a highlight — it’s the only place where I trust eating local oysters, always fresh. The beach itself isn’t crystal clear like Melasti, but it’s clean and free from rubbish, unlike Seminyak or Canggu. For those who want to see a different, more local side of Bali, Jimbaran is a great choice. Just be careful when choosing accommodation — pick something near the beach and away from the main road, so you can walk easily and avoid the heavy traffic.

Uluwatu is a great area in general and recently has evolved into quite more of not just a surf point but also a gastronomic and fashion center of Bali's top towns. A great place to come and take a vacation, all of the beaches are great and the great thing is that there's something for everyone.
