From the moment you arrive to the moment you depart… you’re part of the ONAYA family. The staff are happy, welcoming and very eager to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Scooter rental was done swiftly at the resort. Breakfast was amazing. The pool was perfect. The rooms were comfortable. The setting was quiet, away from the hustle and bustle, but within easy reach by bike or the shuttle service provided.

The room was not only spacious but also exceptionally clean and incredibly comfortable. The materials and decorations were truly amazing! The cleaning staff did an outstanding job, ensuring that everything appeared spotless. What truly enhanced my stay was the remarkably friendly and helpful staff. They were consistently friendly, always making an effort to meet all our needs and paying meticulous attention to details. From check-in to check-out, everyone was exceptionally nice and welcoming. I want to highlight the breakfast team, the reception team, and the security personnel – they were all delightful! Fina and Yanu were particularly amazing (along with another lady from reception, whose name I unfortunately don't remember). Additionally, the hotel's location is fabulous, adding another layer of convenience to the overall experience. Upon arrival, they also sent us a list of recommendations, which included excellent suggestions for restaurants, activities, beaches, and invaluable information for any tourist. I will undoubtedly recommend this hotel to my friends and family. If you're looking for a fantastic room, impeccable cleanliness, a welcoming atmosphere, and a prime location with thoughtful recommendations, this is the place to stay!

A small, very cozy and family hotel. Nice pool area. We felt like at home. The service staff is excellent and helpful, like the hostess herself. Wonderful breakfast of your choice. We had a "Superior" class double room on the first floor with direct access to the pool, which was comfortable. The room is furnished simply, but elegantly. We really liked the interesting bathroom, which is actually outside, with plants. The hotel is located right on the beach in Padang Padang, just across the road. We are disappointed in the famous beach, it was dirty, with water weeds and dross. A lot of people. There are both shops and cafes near the hotel, you have to go to the right a little up the hill. Local taverns with their own charm with a local menu and not expensive. There is basically nothing to do in the surrounding area, we went because of the beach. We visited the Uluwatu temple and the fire show next to it. Beautiful. We spent 3 nice days here.

Great place.

Great place. Lots of excellent restaurants and beautiful beaches nearby. My favourite was Nyang Nyang Beach which is easy to reach. It's a sandy beach with great waves for surfing. Swimming is a bit more tricky as the bottom is rocky and the currents can be a bit challenging. There is a bar for refreshment and the beach is spacious and doesn't feel crowded. Uluwatu attracts lots of surfers and that's a bit the vibe that you get here.

Nusa Dua has a lovely relaxing vibe away from the hustle and bustle. Love it. Try the warung behind Bale Collection - cheap and tasty! We hired a scooter for 120k rupiah and loved getting around exploring.

Fantastic culture, some great places to go in the middle, and North of the Island. I spent a week in Ubud, then a week on the South coast. I could have spent 2 weeks in Ubud, and based most of my travels from there. Beaches in the South are something else, great surf, etc. Things to note which you may not expect. Traffic is mental. Most roads are bad, poorly surfaced, narrow and congested. Most people get around by scooter, which is fine, but be prepared for the fumes if you're doing more than a pop-to-the-shops on one. And the endless 'sell'. I was taking my own picture at a restaurant and was told I would have to pay for it (Rice Terraces) They aren't all like that, don't get me wrong, but they will push it. Fun can be had with haggling, Rule of thumb, offer half their asking price, then work back from there. Be prepared to be followed down the street if you don't buy it. Food is amazing. Try the local dishes, so much better than the same dishes back home. And why would you fly half way round the world to have fish & chips in a different country? And, getting there. Get your visa before going, they have 40-ish automated passport gates, which you can use if you have a digital passport. Use the Gojek App for taxi, or even food and other things whilst you're there (Like Uber).

I recommend taking the shortcut on foot from the accommodation – turn left onto the main road, then immediately left again down a narrow alley. This will take you straight to the cafés, restaurants, shops, and spas. Be sure to visit Kelly's Warung at Bingin Beach, try a Pilates class at Fondue Studio, and enjoy dinner at Casa Asia.

Uluwatu is definitely worth visiting, we came for a wedding and ended up enjoying every minute of our stay. The people are so warm, there are so many great places to eat and beaches to explore. Roads are quite narrow, but getting around is super easy with Grab.

Bali in general, is overrated!

Bali in general, is overrated! Marketing, movies and other things give us a different impression about Bali. In some isolated spots, you can find clean beaches and water, etc In general, it is full of resorts and hotels; the place is overcrowded with no planning, reflecting on the traffic/roads, which is horrible, and the beaches are polluted. It's my 3rd time there, but I know what I'm signing up for. My first time I was imagining Bali as the advertisement (tropical paradise). Is not! For me, is all about the resort where I'm staying. And price.

Jimbaran is a good place to spend the last days of your trip...

Jimbaran is a good place to spend the last days of your trip — it’s close to the airport and convenient for departure. I especially like the Sidewalk Shopping Centre, where you can find Western food, good coffee, and food giftsto take home. The fish market is also a highlight — it’s the only place where I trust eating local oysters, always fresh. The beach itself isn’t crystal clear like Melasti, but it’s clean and free from rubbish, unlike Seminyak or Canggu. For those who want to see a different, more local side of Bali, Jimbaran is a great choice. Just be careful when choosing accommodation — pick something near the beach and away from the main road, so you can walk easily and avoid the heavy traffic.

Uluwatu is a great area in general and recently has evolved...

Uluwatu is a great area in general and recently has evolved into quite more of not just a surf point but also a gastronomic and fashion center of Bali's top towns. A great place to come and take a vacation, all of the beaches are great and the great thing is that there's something for everyone.
