Great location, less than 10 min walk from Tua Pejat Harbour and 15 min walk from Jati Beach. Close to warungs and local mart. Big comfy bed, hot water shower, good WiFi connectivity and AC in room. Recommended for a short stay.

We spent 5 amazing nights at Simagirau Homestay. The bungalow/rooms are located in the best place and best beach on the north island. They are just on the beach you open a door put step on the sand and feels ocean breeze.
Included breakfast,friendly staff and clean bed , just nothing more needed.
We are highly recommended 👌

This place is so beautiful and off the grid that you fully relax . Don’t expect. A lot of choice in food or drinks . All is basic but good and the staff is very friendly and also. All the guests seemed happy and relaxed

Suzi's is really pleasant and friendly homestay, with amazing people.The owner speaks great English and all the stuff are very helpful, whatever you need.Organizing surfing boat, getting around the island.
Suzi makes sure the place is incredibly clean and linen and towels smell so good 👍🏻.She offers a laundry service,too.
Food was very tasty.We rented a scooter on the spot for a great price.Little shops are nearby even by foot.
You have a coffee and tea and drinking water all day long and fridge with drinks and beers for fair prices.

We stayed in the bungalow in the garden. The room was very nice and clean and everything was as expected and as seen on the pictures on booking.com. We felt really at home and very well taken care of. Also all our requests like renting a motorbike and transport to the harbour were arranged very quickly and very reliable. There was really nothing that could have been better. Our rating is a perfect 10.

In Taupejat luckily there aren't many tourists yet, the beach not crowded. But the beach and especially the surrounding small islands very butiful, You can snorkel. If you can ride a motorbike, you can explore the whole area. There are not too much dining option, but are enough.

Islamic village, they still try to smile on the tourists, but you do not feel it is honest anymore. Some nice resorts in the surrounding islands.
Food supply is very poor on the island.
For surfing and even for nicer surround is better to go down to Katiet, the other village on the island
