We had a lovely experience staying at Arda Hotel in Negara! The staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was clean, well-maintained, and had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The location is great if you're looking for a peaceful, authentic Balinese experience away from the usual tourist crowds. It's close to local eateries, markets, and just a short drive to the beach. Breakfast was simple but fresh and satisfying. We also appreciated the quiet atmosphere of the hotel – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Highly recommended for travelers who want to enjoy West Bali with great hospitality at a good value! Would definitely stay here again.

Well it was cheap. I paid $14 on booking.com, then the caretaker made me pay $20 in cash to him as he said I couldn't pay on booking.com he didn't speak English. But there was no where else to stay.

Did book room for 170 000, cos of aircon, no aircon working, so.wanted refund, did get just 70 000, room was 70 000, so should be 90 000, room was disgusting, especially bathroom, so dirty, I just left place in night and found better, cannot believe somebody leave good review here, probably fake, stay away from this place

The location of the resort in the middle of a luxuriant park/forest with the ocean beach in front with a smooth entrance in the water but powerfull ocean waves if you dare to much (undeveloped beach but that's what we're looking for). Quiet, without other noises outside of nature waves and various birds. The villas of the resort offer a minimum of privacy appreciated by us. The friendliness of the staff and the availability to satisfy reasonable requests. Excellent breakfast for us, the restaurant's menu is not very rich but diversified enough for a few days, with tasty food (thanks to the Chef and the restaurant staff). The cleaning team did not disappoint us, the rooms were cleaned every day, the towels and linen were changed daily. I can't say much about the massage, I did'nt get to many before but my wife appreciated it. The manager and those at the reception are special people, communicative, open and ready to provide you with the necessary information for your plans.

We spent one night in the 2 bedroom villa with our kids and wished we had stayed longer! The villa is beautiful with an open air living room right on the beach. There are 2 bedrooms off the central living area and each bedroom has its own bathroom, AC and ceiling fans. The beds were very comfortable and had mosquito nets. The sunset views from the villa and/or the pool/restaurant area were gorgeous! They had happy hour, which was a good surprise. You can swim to the right of the hotel beach, but there are big waves. The hotel provides body boards free of charge. The restaurant had plenty of options and the food and service were impeccable. We would stay here again!

It was perfect in every aspect. Best breakfast I’ve had so far in Bali. Rooms are nice (even though I personally prefer an actual duvet instead of just sheets) and you slept like a baby. Was literally a one minute walk from medewi point, and the surf there is just always great. But the absolute best point is Agus. He’s the owner, and he is simply the best. Offered surf lessons, bike rides, and just talked with you a lot. He really gave you the time of day, just like the rest of his staff. They could fix goddamn anything.

A really quiet corner of Bali.

A really quiet corner of Bali. You rarely see many tourists in the area. Everyone greets you as you walk along the roads or beach. If you want night clubs and European restaurants this isn't the place for you. If you want traditional Bali then get up their quick before it becomes commercialised.

This part of Bali is reminiscent of the Bali that existed around Kuta 42 years ago. Rice paddies, beach, mountains…back to nature. It’s a peaceful part of Bali and we hope it stays that way as long as possible. We only stayed one night but would love to come back with family. Some of the sights around Bali are easier to access from here. Definitely recommend Puri Dajuma Eco Resort to explore this part of Bali and some of the rest of it.

Chilled mostly, bunches of Canggu ?

Chilled mostly, bunches of Canggu ? surfer kooks in the morning in surf. Locals/expats are great, great little community you can wrap your head around as a Lombok expat. Less choices is sometimes better, easy to get info and shared knowledge. Gilmanuk road is not for the beginners...nor is the big surf.
