We had a wonderful stay at Lava Sky. The cabin was comfortable, the views were beautiful, and the atmosphere was warm and relaxing. A special mention goes to Ras, the incredibly friendly owner who truly goes the extra mile to accommodate his guests. His hospitality made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area

Absolutely amazing stay! The owner is incredibly kind and responsive — truly rare to meet someone so attentive. It’s also almost impossible to find a place in this area where you can order food after 9 PM, but they prepared a full meal for us at 11 PM, and everything was delicious. The rooms are stylish, spotless, and super comfortable, and the property has a spectacular view — waking up to that scenery was unforgettable. On top of that, the owner upgraded our room for free, which was such a pleasant surprise, and even prepared a complimentary homemade breakfast that was absolutely wonderful. I genuinely recommend this place to everyone — great hospitality, great people, and a perfect experience overall!

The surroundings were serene and the views were magnificent. Having a private warm natural spring bath at the door made it a spectacular experience. For anyone thinking to trek Mt Batur I highly recommend staying here for a night. My private tour was organised by the Villa on the night I arrived for the next morning. There were very accomodating, assisting and provided great value.

Exact to the images shown, beautiful room and hot spring pool. Staff were very responsive and friendly on messaging, accommodated to our request for extra bed. Clean and comfortable. Staff onsite was very friendly and provided us with hot drinking water even though it was quite late when we arrived. Breakfast was tasty too. They also helped to arrange affordable sunrise jeep tour.

The place is the Best in Bali. And Yayak and the staff took really care of us. Specially with some health care issue in Mont Batur. I will be allways be greatfull to them. Very local life, the place show the view on caldera, volcanos, fruits trees as oranges and avocado. Even long steps to go down and up, it's fantastic to stay there and two nights are really good to enjoy. Go there with no regrets, just hapiness.

A lovely expierence by mount Batur. Ideal if you wanted some chill relaxing time away from busier areas in Bali. Fantastic welcoming, service throughout our stay by Made and his team. The facilities and bedroom were very clean and comfortable ( we had great nights sleep ). The natural volcanic spring water pool was so warm and relaxing. You could spend hours in it (we did). The team arranged for us to do the sunrise hike on mount batur which was very easily accessed from the hotel and well organised. Food at the premises was cooked fresh and very nice. HIGHLY RECOMMEND a stay here ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The staff were very attentive, welcomed us on arrival and took our bags to the room whilst we were shown the complex. The room was lovely, very clean and has WiFi and flip flops and dressing gowns, mosquito nets around the bed and plug ins. Bottled water provided daily. Food and drinks selection was good. We were close to lots of water falls which were great to explore.

Wayan and his family have been exceptional hosts. So very friendly and helpful in any ways, the villa was spotless clean and well equipped, the beds are comfi and the environment so tranquil and beautiful. The pool refreshing and the food home cooked. Truly an original Bali paradise. We can fully recommend this place. We hope we can return sometimes in the future.

We got so much love in this place, it’s beyond imagination! We stayed here for 7 nights, it was a great location to take time away from the busy life! My family received care and love as if we are were their own. The lake is awesome and views of the mountain is breathtaking. Go to Kintamani for Mount Batur but extend your stay for Villa Jempana. Worth every bit!

The staff, especially Wyan, were fantastic! Wyan took us up the mountain at 4 am for the sunrise hike, he even made us breakfast up there and was our own personal photographer! It was amazing! Everything was clean and the views were beautiful!! Food was great. I would love to go back 2 days was not long enough.

We did 2 days which is more than enough, nothing really to...

We did 2 days which is more than enough, nothing really to see at the lake, and if you do go to temple, as usual pay to enter, pay sarong, and it’s dirty and pretty average. Mount Batur is however beautiful to view from Kintamani, the Specialty Coffee place was a cool looking establishment will terrible coffee! And as usual a odour that will scare you off. The township is so dirty, all their waste is put over the side of the hill. Sad to see so much neglect and waste dumped in this area which has so much beauty around.

It's crazy how corrupted the locals are, we were stopped few times (3 times to be precise) asking for entrance fees. Only westerners are charged but any local / asian do not get charge as my wife been there before without me, she didn't get stopped nor get charged.

Kintamani is a little village away from the hustle and bustle of the more popular tourist areas. We did the sunrise hike at Mt Batur and it was truly an amazing experience. We went to the hot springs after our hike and it was the best to soothe our muscles after the hike. If you are looking for a quieter area with beautiful volcano views and nature, then I definitely recommend spending some time there. Highly recommend Wayan Kitchen & Bar for a delicious meal and affordable Indonesian wine.
