It's important to note that if you're coming with little ones and a stroller, there's no elevator – this wasn’t relevant for us. The hotel is very close to the main street in Visegrád' on the main road. In the evening, we walked to nearby restaurants (there aren’t many options, but the food was tasty). LOT'S OF HISTORICAL PLACES. DYNAMITE. THE SIGHTSEEING BUS WHAT A GREAT IDEA, HOWEVER ONLY RUNS ON WEEKENDS. THE REST OF THE WEEK IS JUST PARKED AT A PARKING LOT. WHAT A WASTE. DURING THE WEEK, MAY NOT HAVE THAT MANY PEOPLE, BUT THEY COULD HAVE RUN IT AT LEAST 2 TIMES A DAY. ONE AT MIDDAY, ONE AT IN THE AFTERNOON. Fantastic host !!!! Very friendly and helpful the will be there any time when you need, sorted all your problems!!! We have everything what we needed. Step to step instructions where we can go what please to see, we don't have to worry about anything everything will be sorted 😊 haus looks more beautiful not on the pictures!! Very comfortable bed bedding smells so freshly washed,loved that smell 🥰 Sparkly clean haus!! Haus have everything what you needed , and everything what you needed for barbecue. I'm haigh recommended that place !!!!! Its a nice quite place. Little bit away from the bus connections that's good if you want peace and quite. Good to spent night to catch a flight next day. It will be great if a shuttle service available to and from airport. Taxi normally cost 10 Euros each way. For amenities there is a small shop nearby and you can get to LIDL, Tesco etc. by 15mins walk. Visegrad is a very quiet and rural area and is well suited to those seeking a restful and quiet holiday. We spent only a few hours there. From what we see, it has wide roads and open spaces and the people seems welcoming and many speak good English. The old buildings look in better shape than those in Budapest. The palace was closed when we arrived but it look beautiful.
