Very-very calm! The sound isolated room was just what I needed. No slamming doors, no traffic noise at all - despite being next to a very busy road. This newly built hotel is just two steps away from metro station Népliget and also Tram Nr 1. They have an eye on every detail, to make you feel comfortable. The interieur design is sober, modern and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and competent. The restaurant offers quality food and there is space for everybody. They adapt well to the different flux of guests and the breakast was not a hectic experience, despite an exceptionally busy morning on Sunday. Bravo!

We stayed at Gin Budapest and we can't praise our experience enough! Our room was super cozy and spacious, elegantly furnished, making us feel at home right away. The hotel's location is excellent, perfect for exploring all the wonders of this fantastic city. The staff was outstanding, courteous, with a 24-hour reception service that made our stay even more convenient. They even held onto our luggage at check-out, allowing us to roam around on our final day. Thank you, Gin Budapest, we will definitely see you again on our next visit to Budapest!

We got excellent service. We were celebrating our engagement and got a surprise in the room for free. We were also given a different room because in our first room there was too hot. The second room was perfect. The breakfast was also very good. Overall we had a great experience and also felt accepted as a lesbian couple.

We stayed at the Ensana Grand which, with its sister hotel, the Ensana Thermal, is situated on Margit-sziget (Margaret Island), a beautiful calm oasis in the middle of the River Danube within a short distance of Obuda and Budapest city centre. Both hotels allow guests free access to the spa complex which was a wonderful treat for us. Robes and slippers are provided. Our room in the historic Ensana Grand was lovely, very clean, warm and comfortable with a view of the mighty Danube. The breakfast was very good with numerous choices for all diets and preferences. The staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. On one occasion, we walked down through Margaret Island to access the city centre - it was a beautiful walk of 2-3 kilometres in the sunshine; the autumn colours were stunning. We even saw red squirrels - such a treat! On other occasions, we used the 26 bus which travels along the island from the city centre through to the Margit Hid (Margaret Bridge) or we walked to the transport hub at Szentlelek Ter where there are frequent buses, trams and trains to all areas of the city and beyond. The public transport network in Budapest must be one of the best in Europe and we were amazed to learn that over-65s travel free on all buses, trams and trains. Proof of age must be produced on request. Disappointedly, we were never asked to show our passports! Budapest is huge and a short break cannot do it justice. We will definitely return to this magnificent city.

It is always an uncompromising pleasure to reside at Enzo's property, the VIP suite with a direct view from the jacuzzi to the Basilica. Although consistent with the charm and charisma that Enzo has applied to his properties, it is always good to see improvement. WiFi is now satisfactory for anybody working during their stay, such as myself, considering the connection quality in the area. Heating of exceptional standard has also been installed. There is literally no location, whether it be the Danube, Astoria, Shooting Range or any other city centre landmark or POI that is not accessible within 10-15 minutes on foot or 5 minutes via electric scooter. The baths are just a 10-minute metro ride away, whereas there is an express bus stop to and from the airport (line 100E) just 7 minutes away, on foot, if carrying a suitcase and hold luggage. Must definitely put a good word in for the manager Odeh, has always gone above and beyond to ensure the best possible experience in Budapest, even accommodating all our needs after the end of the stay itself.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is peaceful and quiet, a bit outside the city, it is really quiet and peaceful, easy access to the center. Absolutely worth it if you have a car. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The wellness facilities are excellent. The sauna and swimming pool are clean and relaxing. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and offer beautiful views. I also appreciated the early check-in, which was very convenient. The guy was really amazing. The breakfast was rich and delicious with plenty of options, and there’s also the possibility to have lunch at the hotel, which is a big plus. Overall, the hotel is fantastic. Calm location, great service, and very good value for money. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to coming back!

Our 7 days stay was exceptional…after a whole day of visiting places and coming back to the hotel and going to the spa was relaxing… the breakfast was good even if everyday the same food served… the rooms were clean and the cleaning lady was so friendly and accomodating ( short haired lady ) from the second floor… the area was near a grocery store and so convenient for us to buy our personal needs…. Highly recommended ❤️

We have been here for the third time, our stay has always been wonderful. We really feel at home here. The breakfast is excellent, the staff is friendly, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the spa facilities are very good indeed. Public transportation to the city center is quite easy. The location on the Margaret island is nice and quiet. Altogether: perfect!

I liked that it is close to the city centre. The Buda Castle is very close, and the walk up to the castle is convenient if you like walking by foot. They didn t have slippers but I asked for some and I recievd brand new ones. The bed was confortable and the pillows very soft. If you like more stiff pillows, I advise you give a message prior to arriving.

Never go to Budapest. There are many reasons for this.

Never go to Budapest. There are many reasons for this. It's a city that's way too expensive. There are people and institutions entirely intent on taking tourists' money. It's also a city with significant security issues. The municipality and transportation services are incredibly poor. The municipality is completely focused on fining tourists and generating revenue through them. I definitely recommend Prague over Budapest. You can see all of Budapest's attractions in just a few hours. Vienna and Prague are two cities comparable to Budapest, and both are much, much better than Budapest in every way. I absolutely do not recommend Budapest. I would never recommend Budapest to anyone.

The food was EXCEPTIONAL EVERYWHERE, though the service was erratic and inexplicably slow in famous cafes with coffee that was always lukewarm and not piping hot. LOVED the thermal pools, we spent hours immersing ourselves in the range of bathing temperatures, would DEFINETLY REPEAT next time ! However, the Ruin bars were a significant disappointment, seemed to be an artifice for tourist instagrams. Astounding architecture and magnificent views. We decided entrance prices were too exaggerated to go inside many official historical buildings, but lovely from the outside. Just walk and absorb the views AND EAT DEFINETLY a culinary DELIGHT !
