Location is great, quiet and beautiful and close to park entrances. Good facilities and parking on site. Confortable room, clean and good space. Roza is such a nice host, kind and talkative despite not speaking much english. We had dinner on of the nights and the food was amazing, fresh and organic food, homemade grandma style. Great location to stay while visiting Plitvice National Park. The room we had was of good size. We did not choose the breakfast option in the morning as we just had some take aways at a pastry shop the night before and needed to leave early to the park. There were lifts and we did not have to carry our bags to the room, the weather was a bit cold so the swimming pool was closed, and there is no sauna. There was some construction of a new hotel next to this but it did not have much noise to bother us.

Hotel Palcich is situated on good place near the Plitvice lakes (8km to first entarace). The hotel is modern and clean. The rooms are big for two persons. The bathrooms are ok with all accessories. The furniture in hotel is little bit strange, whole furniture is maked from wood and personaly looks better. Do not hasitate to stay in this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by this place. The apartment was well equipped, we had everything we needed. We received the dishes upon request and there were enough to prepare anything. We had breakfast in the restaurant. The breakfast was fresh and very tasty, we really liked it. Great place if you are going to visit the National Park because it is very close to the entrance. Great staff and a beautiful garden.

We absolutely loved this location! So beautiful and so convenient to enter Plitvice National Park. We also loved the resort very much. It had everything to entertain our kids and to keep us comfortable. We loved that there was a nice restaurant & wellness on site. Rooms were charming and comfortable. Both reception and restaurant staff tried their best to fulfill all our wishes. We will definitely be back!

The staff at the facility and the restaurant were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The natural surroundings around the bungalows are beautiful, with plenty of water drinking points nearby. The toilets were clean and well-maintained. The Korana River is easily accessible, and the dog was able to roam freely and play around.

A unique park with a series of interconnecting lakes and...

A unique park with a series of interconnecting lakes and numerous waterfalls. It is an incredibly beautiful place. There are walkways between the lakes, sometimes of wood (over water) and sometimes of dirt and stone. The wood walkways are not wide and if crowded it can be difficult to pass. But the walkways allow the visitor to experience the beauty and uniqueness of the waterfalls and lakes. Our hike, which included stopping for photos, lasted 2 hours, and we selected a short trail. We could easily have spent a full day at the Park. There were four of us and we agreed that we had never seen a place like Plitvice.

We stayed in Grabovac as we wanted to visit Plitvice.

We stayed in Grabovac as we wanted to visit Plitvice. We booked our tickets a day before for 7am. I'm glad we went early as from 9am the park was very busy. We used entrance 2, for a longer walk (but not the longest), it was very good until we reached entrance 1 (by small ferry) which was extremely busy. I do not recommend entrance 1 as the queue for ferry was very very long. Generally avoid busy periods if you want to enjoy nature.

The B&B Plitvica Hill was great.

The B&B Plitvica Hill was great. The owner was there to answer any questions and help you get settled in. The room are all new and very well set up. The beds were great. My wife and I would sleep to much.

You really need several days to visit what that place has to...

You really need several days to visit what that place has to offer. Don’t miss the Spelaton center and Barać caves. We been on Barac Traill race and the organizers really do the best of them. Also don’t miss the fast food in rakovica on road by the Apartment green park with delicious burgers.

We were there in April and went just for Plitvic lakes, it was quite cold in the morning & evening, glad we had our puffer jackets. An absolute bonus was the gorgeous little village of Rastoke, stunning and the best food of our entire 2 weeks in Croatia.

Plivice Lakes National Park is a must see.

Plivice Lakes National Park is a must see. Natural beauty takes your breath away. It was the higlight of our tour, because we have never seen a reserve like this. Jezerce is only 5-10 minutes drive from on of the entrances to the park. Jezerce itself is beautiful and reminiscent of the Swiss Alps.

This is a great place to base yourself when visiting the Plitvice NP. We only did a one night stay on transit between Zagreb and Zadar. There are lots of different sights to see, so wish we had a few days. There are caves and more waterfalls to see outside the National Park. The main township was much bigger than we expected. Amazing area. We ate at the family owned restaurant in a big orange building on the Eastern edge of Korenica, Restaurant Sapena. Fabulous grilled trout, and the best grilled meat platter ever.

This town is very close to Plitvice and a great place to stay for less money than the official Plitvice hotels. There are a couple of restaurants in town, Restoran Degenija serves delicious food, a bit upscale, though not too expensive. Most of the town is on the main road to Plitvice, so there is a lot of traffic.

The only negative was the Property description, indicating that the lakes are a 15 minute walk from the Villa. This should read that it is a 15 minutes walk to the entrance of the woods, after which there is about a 2km walk to Plitvice Lake Entrance 2 where you buy your tickets!

Near Plitvice Lakes, quiet area, but near many local restaurants and supermarkets. Restaurant of choice was GRAND LAKES RESTAURANT, Plitvicka Jezera. Wonderful food and friendly staff. Barac Caves is the perfect place to chill, play area for children and three forest trails leading from the carpark. Exceptionally clean and plush toilets there too!
